hydrogen squeezed into flame?

what sort of reaction should happen if a hydrogen filled pipet is squeezed into a flame?

A flame will occur at the mouth of the pipette (which will melt if it's plastic!) and steam will be produced.

2H2 + O2 ----> 2H2O

As long as there is no oxygen in the pipette (or air), there will be no explosion.
