With what? A belt, paddle, tree branch, twitch, fly swatter, bare hands, fists, shoes, (unspecified)______?

I got whipped with all of that when I was a kid. Now I notice that kids beat their parents up & think it's funny. I used to be terrorized by getting whippings. Now you see a 3-yr. old kid getting whipped & they laugh & then the parents get CPS called on them. I'm so afraid to have kids because of how much trouble it's easy to get into now. Things that were right back in the day are wrong now. & nowadays I see how parents call their kids bitches & hoes. It's ridiculous!

such as the divorce rate being 50% ? IT IS NOT 50% !!!!!! That statistic was made based on THIS YEARS marriages and divorces, not ALL marriages and divorces. IF you take ALL marriages and ALL divorces, the rate os only 2-3%.One could easily say that less people got married this year !!!!! When will people stop perpetuating the lie ? When they finally get over there own relationship ineptitude ?

I am pretty young, and my husband and I have been married a little over 5 years. Things are not working out and we desided to go sperate ways, we are trying to stay civil. We have seperated less then a week ago. I need to tell my parents soon because I am going to have to stay with them until I can get on my feet, but I don't know how to go about telling them. What were your favorite songs while you were in country?

I'm trying to compile some lists. My favorites so far, "Proud Mary" (Creedence Clearwater Revival), "We've Got to Get Out of This Place" (The Animals), "Detroit City" (Bobby Bare), "Green Green Grass of Home" (Tom Jones) and "House of the Rising Sun" (The Animals.)

What songs were popular depended on when you were there. Often you heard them played by Filipino or Aussie bands if you heard them performed live. We also had reel to reel tape recorders and sometimes record players, but usually tapes.

"We've Got to Get Out of This Place" and "Detroit City" ("I Wanna Go Home") were almost sure to get a houseful of GIs singing along.

Do you have other favorites? For me it's been 36 years. These are the ones I can remember best. I can close my eyes and see the bands that played them.

There is speculation that the five points on the star represent the five pillars of Islam, but this is pure conjecture. The five points were not standard on the Ottoman flags, and as you will see on the following page, it is still not standard on flags used in the Muslim world today.

Some schools even have texts books explaining the way god did it. How do they know how god did it and is this made up version of events based on the bible or just invented to keep sertain groups ill informed and thus less capable of making rational desisions based on all the information available.
