I'm not particularly proud of it, but I once tasted tiger penis. It just goes to show what one will do when there is no Burger King close, and there is nothing on TV with which to occupy one's time.....

Being from the South and having friends that are African American, I have tasted what is called chitlins. It is the stomach and intestines of the either the pig or the cow. It wasn't nearly as chewy and sinewy as I thought. It was served over rice in some sort of gravy.

Now, since then, I've been in the house when the chitlins were being cleaned and cooked. They TRULY, TRULY smelled like a$$. I decided that I didn't want to try the southern delicacy again, after smelling them.

**I actually liked horse meat after it had been par-boiled and then smoked and then barbecued.
