My dad had this announced in his congregation last week. :)

Though it was not announced in ours yet, nor in my father in laws congregation. Im sure the announcement is coming in each congregation, we just have to be patient. The talk will be 30 mins and the Watchtower will be 45 mins (I believe that is what he said) The outlines for the talk will be the same, but the brother will have to cut off a few mins here and there.

He gave me the reasons for this adjustment but I'm not gonna go into here. I will leave it for each announcement in each congregation. (I just don't feel like typing it all out LOL) We missed our Meeting Last week and therefore thought we missed the announcement, this is why he told me. This past weekend when we asked some of the friends if there was any announcements we missed, and they said no, hence NO announcements in our congregation....Im sure it will be this week tho....

Don't listen to rumours because there probably unreliable & are sometimes a result of people misunderstanding something & passing on the wrong information. Wait until things are changed by the society & then informed through the elders of the congregation. Or even better go & ask an elder about it.

I've heard nothing of this in the US. In response to wmbjesusfreak ; If you made the effort to get out of bed, groom yourself, dress appropiately, and go door to door preaching, I would be happy to listen to what you have to say when you knock on my door. Otherwise, just listen to someone who did instead of taking the easy way out.
