The "get a life" trolls are not even worth the defense. They do it to try to make themselves feel superior. Ignore their immature pathetic ignorant nasty answers to begin with-- giving then a nasty answer right back just brings you down to their level and is asking for more, which is exactly what they want. So don't feed the trolls!!
Anyway, of course they can't come up with anything better than "get a life" because they are immature pathetic ignorant unimaginative trolls. That is, matter of fact, truly the very definition of "troll" and they must be ignored from the start, instead of fed! They almost literally bite the hands that feed them!

I'm not your target audience now, but when I was in High School in the 60's, I loved Carlos Jobim, Astrid Gilberto, Howard Roberts, Herbie Mann, The Baja Marimba Band and others in the genre. I remember getting some flak about that, but I also loved the Beatles, Beachboys, and other contemporaries. My pet peeve is people who can only like one type of music. Good music is good music, and always in the ear of the listener! I now play in an oldies rock band, but we still do a lot of the old standard jazz stuff too. Life is Good! Rock On music lovers! peace

First of all, why do you feel the need to defend yourself to these people? You are who and what you are, and you shouldn't need to defend yourself to someone that obviously has no life....if they had a life, they wouldn't be trying to provoke you. What they say is true, you should be open to any kind of answer, whether it's constructive or not. Allow them their moment of malarkey, they have nothing better to do than attempt to rile someone. Choose to not let them bother you, the best response to their antics is apathy. Don't give them that kind of power or influence over you.

I block everyone who says "get a life" as I consider them trolls. It's funny, because they don't get why they've been blocked, and they can't ask you because they're blocked.
