Ok, ok. Re. a Q askin g about the Big Bang and what caused it...

I know and understand science pretty well. I took several college courses in both astronomy and physics (both cornerstones in understanding the most elemental nature of the universe and "its" creation, and did pretty good in them, too!) I offer a few points to everyone who cites science as an ultimate explanation for the genesis of the universe we exist in and are learning about.
1. We don't know how much there is to "know", to learn about the universe. How will we even "know" when we know all we need to know? I further contend that there will always be questions to be answered and, moreover, that new discoveries spawn more Q's.
2. Our knowledge of the universe will be lost in two areas of basic human understanding; time-space and physics. OUR universe exists in "time" we are still grasping, trying to understand, but the forces that existed and possibly generated our uni did not necessarily obey the same laws of

I'm making a stool and, for reasons I can't be bothered to go into, lightness is quite high up on my list of priorities.

Strength is not essential, but I don't want anything too flimsy as I wish to upholster it and it will need to grip upholstery tacks.

What sort of wood should I use?

Christians use the excuse for their dishonesty 'We are not perfect, we were created in sin'. I guess I expected too much from them. At least their religion is documented by history. As for the Mormons...some Japanese are so gullible to believe this when they have their own Shinto and Buddhist religions.

I was just flipping channels and caught a piece on ESPN Sports Center. They were having a discussion about "Who's Now" the better sports person. It's an audience vote situation. So come on, let's make our love of the sport known. Who's with me?

I asked similar questions yesterday and got some good answers but still have questions.

I fell in love with a muslim man. I am a chrsitian woman. He is from Saudi. I am intereseted in the Muslim faith.

I have known him for awhile. He has been engaged the whole time I knew him. I loved him but did not tell him. Well the day before he left I told him. He told me he too loved me and I was in his heart. He says I wish you had of told me earlier because I could have changed things. He asked when he came back if I would still love him. I told him yes I cant change it.

So what will happen when he returns? I do know what he says is not really a good thing to say in his faith. I know he should not tell me what he said. I just do not know what he expects of me? I have had many people say he is a snake. I know his heart. He is a very good person. I am not some silly woman who is being played. I know him.
so bottom line what will happen when he comes back?

I feel this answers so many of our religious questions like "why me".......
"The Plan of the Master Weaver"
Author Unknown
Our lives are but fine weaving
That "God" and we prepare,
Each life becomes a fabric planned
And fashioned in "His" care.
We may not always see just how
The weaving intertwines,
But we must trust the Masters hand
And follow "His" design.
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side,
While we must look from underneath
And trust in "Him" to guide.
Sometimes a strand of sorrow
Is added to "His" plan,
And though it's difficult for us,
We still must understand.
That it's "He" who fills the shuttle
It's "He" who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience
And leave to "Him" the rest.
Not till the loom in silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall "God" unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needed
In the Weaver's skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern "He" has planned.
