i want it to be a good lengthy game, first person, and with things to kill, ie monsters/ vampires etc

You've gotta get the Darkness then - very dark, violent and gory. Gears of War is the best 360 game around at the moment. Halo 3 will be out in a few months too.

gears of war. Saints row is a really stylish game and heed for speed carbon is great online

Hitman Blood Money is really good, try Bullet Witch aswell if you want a more fantasy type game
