I wonder if the results would be different if the poll was vs. Jeff Gordon. The hater's would still be haters but at least then they'd be putting champions up against each other.
BTW, Gordon is my favorite driver.

Peyton Manning. Although I am a big NASCAR fan I do love to watch both sports & I feel that football is more now. Plus Peyton is a Champion & the best quarterback in the league. Jr, on the other hand, so far, is just a driver!

I think that Dale Jr. is going down.
I love the sport, but I think that the popularity of Peyton Manning will be too much for Dale to over come in the polls.
Dale might be the most popular driver in Nascar, but across america Football still has more fans.

I love our sport but I would Vote for Peyton Manning over Jr. My mom's a big Volunteer fan so naturally I was cheering for Peyton back in college and well he's like the best QB there is now a days!

I am from Louisiana where Payton's Dad Archie played for the Saints for years. Payton and his family have done a lot for La. after the hurricanes but I love Nascar and I voted for Jr !

Junior wins hands down and I am not a junior fan, when he has 30% of nascar fans be fans of his, he has just as many if not more comericals out there and manning is a great quarterback, but he is also a big dork.
