if I wanted to engineer chemicals, (example: polymers and industrial chemicals and such, other things somewhat relevant to biology), would a biochem and chem double major help alot or would it be overkill?

i have only been able to use the patch as a contraceptive. whenever i have tried an oral contraceptive it makes me really tender or sore during sex but the patch doesnt. im tired of wearing the patch and am hoping there is a pill out there that is the same as the patch with the levels of hormones and types of hormones used etc. can anyone offer me information? also can anyone explain where the soreness came from when taking oral contraceptives?

There is a conflict of interest - the president is supposed to protect the country, but evangelicals believe mass destruction will precede the rapture. Therefore they would be happy if a major city was destroyed or a neuclear bomb detonated. I beleive this alone is reason to ban evangelicals from the presidency. Do you agree?

I watched some lawyers debate the case against Vick . Along with the evidence of removing 66 dogs from his property , there are also 4 eyewitnesses willing to testify . And the D.A. has more . One of the lawyers intimated that she has an inside source saying there's other damning evidence . Innocent until proven guilty yes. . . .but no doubt the future don't look too bright for Vick .
Nike has 'suspended' their new Vick line as a result .
Sen. Byrd has made it a political topic .

Do you think Vick is done in the NFL ? And can you believe it ?

a 20yrs old girl i knew breifly hates me because i told her to go back to school and get a job after she had a baby. I was reading a Civil War book and came across a very interesting quote from Lincoln.
" If I could save the Union without freeing any slave, i would do it; If I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; And if i could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that ."
Is this a historical quote overlooked by Historians or was I always made to believe that Lincoln 's biggest mission in the war was to make sure all slavery was abolished? Any thoughts?
