i have only been able to use the patch as a contraceptive. whenever i have tried an oral contraceptive it makes me really tender or sore during sex but the patch doesnt. im tired of wearing the patch and am hoping there is a pill out there that is the same as the patch with the levels of hormones and types of hormones used etc. can anyone offer me information? also can anyone explain where the soreness came from when taking oral contraceptives?

The reason for the tenderness with the pill is because of the hormones in them. What I did to help ease that tenderness was get a bigger sized bra and that took care of the problem for me.
As for pills that may have hormone dosages similar to the Patch ask your doctor about one called Alesse or another one called Mircette to see if they are options to consider.
I did Mircette and other than some problems with handling lower dose when it comes to estrogen I liked it a lot.
