It depends if it has historical value or not. If it is from one family member to another someone in the family might want it. Sometimes local libraries take thing like that to have for historical archives. It might help some to place a relative in a certain place or event at a certain time. It depends on what it was about. It could be neat to see how people wrote to each other and how they spoke to one another back then.

Can you check the local property tax rolls and find out who lived in your house in 1910? If so, I'm sure the family of the folks that lived there would like to have the letter, if you could track them down.

1. Read it.
2. Sell it (if possible).
3. Donate it:
A. Museum, etc.
B. Genealogy association
C. Relatives or friends, or:
4. Keep it.
I have some my aunts wrote back in the 1800's; it is interesting reading, confusing sometimes, lots of fun. Can you imagine being able to live on $3.00 a week?

You can sell it on eBay. There is a good chance someone will buy it, especially if it is in good condition.
If it contains anything you think may be important politically, socially, or historically, you can donate it to a museum if they will take it.
You can also get it framed and keep it yourself!
