Does getting a Cavity field hurt?

I just went to the dentist today and they cleaned my teeth or whatever. Then they said i had 8 cavities and thats alot. I know I had one when I was little but dont remember really so if someone could tell me did it hurt and about how long they took. Im only getting 2 done at a time so I have to go back 4 times so kinda nerves. Im just really worried about the pain... Thanks for your help :)

My husband and I were thinking of changing my wedding ring but all of a sudden...?

Originally we were looking at this specific style of ring that I absolutely fell in love with but the ring was $48,000. There is no way we would have purchased that ring. My husband had our jeweler make a ring similar to the ring but not quite what I wanted. I fell in love with that ring as well. Recently, I lost one of the diamonds from my ring and we took it to be repaired. While we were there, my husband said to me, "Why don't we consider looking for another ring since this was not the original ring you wanted." I was reluctant but he found the exact ring we saw years ago (the $48,000 one) and it was about $12k. Of course the diamond wasn't perfect or as big but I loved the ring. Well recently my husband saw a documentary about how cheap diamonds really are and now he's reluctant to buy the ring. He's actually reluctant about buying anymore diamonds period. I don'tmean to sound shallow but I really love that ring. I was also planning to get him a new ring as well. What should I do?

has anyone gotten porcelain veneers?

and if so....did your temporaries look a lot worse than the permanent ones...the reason i am asking is because my temps are hideous and big..i want to know if the actual veneers are smaller than the temps and shaped different

How do I make my husband get off his butt and help out?

We have a 14 month old baby and I'm in school full time, staying home with baby. He is a high school teacher. He comes home and sleeps on the couch. I am ready to stab him with a rusty pitchfork; I am so exhausted. How do I make him realize how hard I work and get him to help out? Please help!

My choice for baby name?

I wanted to give my daughters name something to do with my sister because she is going to pass away in the next 5 years, and my sisters name is heather ann (well ann is her middle name) and I wanted to do something but ann is kinda plain for middile name so i thought that i would give her mine and my sisters, does this sound okay or not- Trinity Ann- Marie

would any 1 here eat meat if it was raised the way we thought it was when we were kids?

I mean when i was a kid i thought that my McNuggets were raised with their moms in a chicken coop on a farm with a barn, hay stacks, cornfeilds, and trees with tweeting birds in the background. And finally when they could no longer lay eggs they were killed and turned in to my McNuggets.

and as 4 my buger i thought they were raised as cows on big green feilds until they got old and then where killed.

Am I the only person who thinks Nolan Ryan was overrated?

I always thought Nolan Ryan was good pitcher, but overrated, i thought he just had good moments like his 7 no-hitters. He had probably the hardest throwing arm ever, but does anyone else agree with me that he was not the best ever, or at least overrated?

How many of the "parenting rules" do you break?

Whenever I read posts on this, I'm amazed to find out how many people put blankets in baby's crib, turn car seats forward before age 1, put cereal in bottles, offer high-allergen foods too early, and so on and so on.
