I started getting acupuncture 2 or 3 weeks ago. I've done a TON of research on it and am very impressed w/ the variety of health & wellness issue it can help. My main ones are insomnia, anxiety, depression, ADHD, asthma, acid reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome. None are severe (thankfully!) although some are more problematic than others.

My question: within the last week, I've noticed my mood is lower than it normally is. It's not like I walk around crying, and I don't act bitchy. I just feel less happy than usual, a little bit "blue", and less motivated to do things. :( It's not severe, but I can tell it's different than my usual way of feeling.

My acupuncturist said stuff like this happens to some folks during their first few weeks of treatment, because changes are going on in the body that it's not used to, and sometimes that makes a person feel "unbalanced" (for lack of a better word).

Anyone else notice changes like this upon starting acupuncture? If so, for how long?

My plants are amazon swordplants,Java fern and Java moss.But only the Amazon swordplants are dying. Sometimes I think I over pruned my plants.How do I actually prune the plants and keep them nice and tidy?I always seem to do a pretty bad job and the plants looks horrible after awhile.I have a CO2 diffuser,fertilizers with occasional dosing of liquid fertilizers and trace elements.Using 2 fluoroscent lamps with reflectors.The 2 tubes has been used for quite some time.There's always little particles floating in the water,i think my filter isn't up to the task anymore as I have what I believe a pretty heavily stock of fish in a 4ft tank. 2 adult and 2 baby angelfish,2 striped raphael catfish,4 bronze cory,4 panda cory,4 oto,2 wood shrimp,a few yamato,20 rummy nose and 20 cardinal tetras. Will be getting another filter,so that I have 2 running simultaneously.Temperature used to be quite high,until I removed the lid.

I may have had sex a few days before I ovulated. just estimating on when I ovulated. not to sure. a few days after that my stomach started to hurt like I was getting sick. I really thought I was but I didnt get sick.. I felt weird all that week like bad gas mixed with consipation and diarehha. I tried commiting suicide two days ago and came very close to succeeding. My friends and family don't even know about it and i'm questioning whether or not I should tell them. Where can you go for suicide help and how do you tell those close to you about it without feeling humiliated?

I am a mother of four that has been a stay at home mom for 13 years now. I am suppose to be going back to school this fall. I am going back to become a LPN it has always been a dream of mine to become a nurse. The problem I'm running into is that everyone, but my kids think that I am being selfish. They fill this way because we are in a very bad financial situation right now and they think I should get a job instead of going back to school. My husband's family is really putting me down and making me fill bad for it, they say I'm putting too much on my husband. That he shouldn't have to be the only one that works. I think that they aren't seeing the bigger picture, if I went to work tommorow it would have to be a minimum wage job and after I finish school I would have a very well paid profession, one that I can be proud to have. ur probably wondering what my husband thinks, to be honest I think he fills the same as his family does. Please help, tell me what u'd do in my situation.

I downloaded the new Interpol CD Our Love to Admire when it leaked weeks ago, but am also buying it in the stores when it comes out tomorrow. It's very good. moving to tx from nv. don't have fleas here. need to know what is best for my cats and dog for flea and tick prevention. is frontline plus and advantage and bio spot. all the same and is it 100% effective. don't want fleas on animals and freak them out. thanks

What is it and how do I prevent it? I was looking at a food chart and I noticed that almost all of the greens had high calcium and oxalates. I know that the two mixed together can cause MBD. How do I feed my bearded dragon these greens without him getting MBD? (I might be overreacting, I'm just stressed about him. Please tell me if I am overreacting)
