There are very few people on this earth that can honestly say they have never felt like killing themselves. Keep that in mind. You are just saying out loud what the people you are talking to have felt. Tell your family and friends. You really don't want to kill yourself or you would not be on here asking for help. Your family will love you and respect you for coming to them. Your state probably has a suicide hot line. Call it. Go to an emergency room and get help. Good luck. I hope this helps. This is my way of answering.

There is a group called Survivors of Suicide, This group is national and you can talk to people which have lost someone to suicide or have tried to take their own lives. Should you tell your friends or family, it might be good to tell one you trust with more then almost anything.
My dad committed suicide on Dec. 9th, 2005 and we are still feeling the effects of the death.Survivors of Suicide will not make fun of you or make you feel like you are no good. We have seen the pain and are dealing with our emotions on the act. I find them a good support and I am able to help others with the strength I have. We cry, laugh and help each other in even the small things which can make the suicide and suicide attempt a tearful thing.
You can try Survivors of Suicide.com, and see if they are right for you or as someone else said go to the Suicide hot line, they will help find a place you could fit without fear.
Try them, but please don't try the attempt again. I have a sister you is having the hardest time to get through her feeling, even after a year and a half.
Stick to living, please.

Please do not feel humiliated. Attempted suicide is a characteristic of major depression, which is a medical condition. High blood pressure is also medical condition. You wouldn't be humiliated to let your family know if you suffered from high blood pressure, would you?
Major depression cannot be treated simply with a pep talk. It often requires medication. You have had a serious suicide attempt and you should treat it seriously, because you are at a very high risk. Let your family know, and be in the drivers seat to let them know you need a doctor. Also, look up a suicide hot-line number before the end of the day TODAY. Promise that if you try to harm yourself again that you will call that number BEFORE you do anything which you cannot ever reverse.
You deserve to be healthy. Take the appropriate steps and you will have a much better perspective on your current situation. Good luck.

HI! Yes you need to talk to someone. If you have someone outside the family or a very close family member you can talk with to see where you need to go for help. If you can find someone at a Church to tell or call 911 for a suicide hot line you can get help that way also. Just remember their is all ways a better way. Just let someone know and take a day at a time. If no one knows people might not know you are having trouble.
I had a real good friend in middle school kill himself and no one know he was feeling that bad about himself. If his friend had know we would been there for him.
So do talk with someone. And think of your family and friends you will leave behind.
I hope you are not a young person. You have you whole life to make things better. Just keep working on it.
Later on you maybe able to help someone that havin more troubles then you....

Call the suicide hotline and talk to people who care about you. My sense is that you are trying to find a way to ask for help. My advice is to ASK for it, Suicide is a very permanent solution to a very temporary problem The one thing is that the clouds will pass and the depression will subside if you wait it out. Get some help and support, your life is worth it.

First, you can tell me right now. nine o four nine two three nine three four four. I'll talk to you right now.
Typically suicide is a call for help so you can call me and I'll talk to you. The other respondents are correct, but I offer you immediate attention.
You don't want to do this. It will hurt everyone you know and no telling what the next life holds for you. Speak to someone about why you feel this way so you can find out why you feel this way.

Let me start off by telling you that your life is very special ok everyone is very special and your life is very valuable to not only you but your family weather they show it or not. The best way to tell them is to tell them how you feel explain it to them and let them know that you want to talk to them about something important and they will listen. Go to www.google.com and type in Suicide Help and you will get many links to your needs. But believe me it is the biggest mistake committing suicide. Your life is Valuable to everyone including me whom i don't even know because i care. Best of luck to you my friend and i know you can get through this :D. Email me if you need help with this problem.

There is a suicide hotline listed in the phone book. Call them. They really can help. My mom called them when she was having suicidal thoughts due to post partum depression and that is why I still have a mom today.
