In the June issue of Scientific American, there was an article regarding new thoughts on the origin of life on earth that I found particularly interesting.

It explained that 30 years ago or so, many scientists believed that DNA was the building block of life...and it was somehow the beginning chemical structure that initiated all life on earth. (Hawkins also believed in this theory as I understand it)

Then, a few years ago, RNA was discovered and because it was an even simpler form, it was theorized that it, not DNA was the building block etc. (I am not a scientist so I may not be explaining this very well)

According to the article, something new was found however...a rather perplexing puzzle about DNA and RNA molecules. It seems that the old question of which came first, the chicken or the egg is once again being asked.

In order for DNA to exist in the double helix form that we are accustomed to seeing, something had to cause a replicator molecule to be added.

Okay, I got egged 2 times in a row by the same morons. Then I went outside with my camera, saw them, they threw an egg, they missed me, and I took a picture with my camera. is there any way that i can take a better picture? because the liscence plate is white and i cant see the code, or can the police actually figure it out?

I have a 10 gallon filtered tank with 4 platies and 2 mollies. all of the fish swim together except for one of the platies. he hides all the time and only comes out from various hiding places when its time to eat. I noticed he has two bites out of his tail (at least i think they are bites) and the other fish seem aggressive when he comes out to eat. what is wrong? they all got along fine when I first put them in a week ago.
Also, my one white mollie has a white dot on his tail...is something wrong? please help! =) thankyou

Well, when i went to turn on the lights in my computer room a blue spark appeared and one burnt out. when i flicked the swith again none of the lights came on. What could be the problom? None of the light bulbs are working although only one is out. please help.

...Center in St. Louis, MO caused by arson, or did they ever find a cause for the fire? Seems a little bit fishy to me, seeing as how the government is always trying to cover up this or that. I ask this because my uncle (a pilot) died young under very questionable circumstances, and I wonder how many others met with the same fate...
