I used to live in Colorado back in the 90's. I had a buddy that spent time in jail. I had a fling with his lady while he was in jail. He never knew this. I was told he was now in the State Pen. I searched his name and I think I found him residing in Canon City. That's where the State Pen is. Can somebody help me with some info? I'd like to find out if he is in and what he's in for. I can't afford a pay site. I'd just like to see how he is and if he's kicked his drug habit.

Granted, some people are so bad off they need the round the clock care provided in a nursing home.
But I put my life and my dreams on hold for 15 years to take care of my elderly father. I even sold my house and moved in with him because I knew how much his home meant to him.
And I didn't even date women because I felt that if things got serious, I couldn't devote myself to two people.
I don't think I deserve a medal or anything, I just felt it was the right thing to do, and I wonder why other people don't feel the same compassion for their parents.

Before I ask this question I'd like to make a request... please, if you're going to say that I'm stupid and shouldn't care about insects then just stop reading now. Don't bother replying if you're not willing to give me actual advice and instead want me to think the way that you do.

I'm a vegan and don't want to hurt any living creature in any way. But my mum wants me to cut the grass for her. The thought of hacking through the grass with a lawnmower and killing lots of insects and bugs is really playing with my conscience. Especially as it's just so the garden can look 'pretty'.

I'm going to my parents house next week so can anyone tell me whether there's a humane way of cutting grass without having to harm the creatures living in it?

Again, please don't hurl abuse at me... it really annoys me that so many people are rude to vegans when all we're trying to do is live a life involving the least cruelty possible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have a hideously discolored wall of brick in our home which also contains a fireplace. I would like to sheetrock over it and add a wood mantle around the opening of the fireplace. Any suggestions or warnings on this????

so, I think that we've had enough "is hip hop dead questions" to realize that mainstream hip hop is in pretty bad shape (like when Commons Be album went gold, and young joc went platinum).. I have a G4 Apple Powerbook and I generally use the most recent version of Firefox, but I also have Safari & Internet Explorer. I'm waiting for something to become available online, and I'm impatient, so I want to know the minute it's there. But, I want to do other things then just click refresh over and over and over again. Is it possible to set it so that it will automatically refresh the page every couple of minutes so I don't have to do it?

The fruits of sola scriptura has been division. There are now many denominations (see below) and more than one is too many. They have serious differences in fundamental issues

Division is against the Bible:
• Jn. 10:16 - there shall be one flock and one shepherd
• Jn. 17:20-21 - I pray ... for those who will believe in me ... that they may all be one
• 1 Cor. 1:10 - I urge that there be no divisions among you
• 1 Cor. 14:33 - he is not the God of disorder

So, "sola scriptura" must be a false doctrine
