Can you automatically refresh with a Mac?

I have a G4 Apple Powerbook and I generally use the most recent version of Firefox, but I also have Safari & Internet Explorer. I'm waiting for something to become available online, and I'm impatient, so I want to know the minute it's there. But, I want to do other things then just click refresh over and over and over again. Is it possible to set it so that it will automatically refresh the page every couple of minutes so I don't have to do it?

The change detection site doesn't work! Is it impossible to auto-refresh then?
