I'm going to a white tie gala/ball thing for a charity event and I have no idea what to wear. It's reaaaalllly forma (white-tie) and I'm not sure I can just show up in a cocktail dress or something like that. Would a full-length ballgown be appropriate for this or something?

Can U also post pictures/links/websites to some dresses that U think would be acceptable?

The Republicans use the war on terror and terrorism, but the Democrats use global warming, do they not both create fear?

It seems politicians have found that they can get votes just by creating an issue or concentrating on an issue, that gives people a cause to fight for.

The Republicans seem to be concentrating on terrorism, while giving little attention to global warming. The opposite seems to be true of the Democrats. They are concentrating on global warming and reducing the number of troops fighting terrorist.

In my opinion, terrorism is a much larger and more obvious problem right now. Which frightens you more, the average temperature going up some 2-3 degrees over the past 100 years or Islamic extremists carrying signs proclaiming that Muslims will dominate the world, and England’s 9/11 is on the way, while protesting in the middle of London?

well 1 week ago I resetting the ECU meens unplug the minus borne from
battery and keep the brake pedal press 30 sec after short time my
automatic gear box start work badly on hold where I should have 1/2/3 sped do
not responded in D look working just 1/2 gear speed the question is
is broke the gear box or is somethig from computer or speed sensor

Back in 1979, the Communist Worker's Party of America was having an anti-racism rally. The American Nazi Party and KKK joined forces and massacred 5 unarmed communists and injured several more. This was called the Greensboro Massacre. None of the perpetrators were punished.

The five killed were:

- Bill Sampson, a Harvard University graduate in the school of divinity;

This is a "what is your though" question.
I skipped supper for around 3months 4years ago and lost an astonishing 60lbs and NEVER felt better in my life. I hate breakfast but when I skipped dinner I would love it and eat a big breakfast because I was truly hungry. I felt great, ate well during breakfast and lunch and was a happier person. So why should I not do this again, since I can make it a lifestyle change. The russians say "eat breakfast by your self, share your lunch with a friend and give your supper to your enemies".
If I drink a low calorie protein shake before bed why should I not do this? My body did not go into starvation mode before and I felt great, it seemed like I always just felt "lighter"

If I understood it correctly, when you kill someone you split your soul (whether you want to make an Horcrux out of it or not).If that is so, I don't think Harry will kill Voldemort. Even Dumbledore always said that Harry didn't have to follow the prophecy, it was Voldemort who was obcessed with it. What is your opinion? How can Harry vanquish Voldemort without actually killing him? Maybe he can be defeated without being killed, maybe someone else will kill him or maybe he will kill himself? Be imaginative!

I own the house I live in and rent out a couple of rooms to students. The rent includes all bills. My problem is that the tennants keep overriding the heating control and so last week I came home to find the heating had been put on constant although it is July and the house is roasting hot!!!

My gas bill last month alone was £130 for 4 weeks! When I lived alone it was £30 a month!

I need to find a box that has a lockable front and no back so that I can mount it over the heating control on the wall. Has such a thing been invented or do you know where I can find such a thing?

Though no one would argue its good to have, I want to have the option of turning them on and off manually. There are instances you do NOT want them on automatically. first instance the other day I went to a motor drive inn. I was driving around with the darn light on. Please do NOt tell me to go to the dealer, I know they know how to do it. Any one know how to disengage the unit that makes them go on at dusk and dawn??? Thank you!
