otherwise i'm slim but my tummy and hips are too fat. i have a pear shaped body type. what kind of exercise should i do. i joined a gym and worked out for a month. reduced 10 lbs and lots of weight from the rest of the body but my buttocks and tummy remained the same. didn't lose an inch. i did bench press and other tummy reducing exercises. but no use. what should i do. i hate my tummy sometimes. its not a tummy anymore. its a tire. an 18 wheeler tire.

This is a recurring debate in our office. I say keeping the thermostat on a steady temp. is more efficient. Others think that by making sure the heat or AC does not cut on over the weekends or at night is most efficient. For example, for AC, this would be changing the thermo. from 75 to 80 to save energy. Doesn't that mean that the units just have to work harder to get the temp. back to 75 when the employees come back to work?

i can't let go, and neither can my ex. we talk contstantly via email and txt.. and have for about the 4 years since he got married. we meet occassionally and things happen, my family hates him but i love him and can't live without him.. now what? my husband is the best, and he loves me..but i don't feel the passion for him that i feel for my ex.

I am having a deck built, it approx 16 x 10 feet. The decking is spanning the 16 foot width. A few of the boards appear to be warped along the width of the board, the appear to run in a curve. The boards that appear this way are near the suppport posts that are sticking up for the railing. The boards that are not near posts appear straight. Nonetheless when measuring from the wall to the edge of the boards along the length of the boards the measurement is consistent. The railing and spindles have yet to be put up. I am wondering if the posts are giving an illusion of the boards being warped and if that illusion will go away when the spindles and railing have been put in place.

I'm a 19 year old female and I want to grow taller but it seems my height growth has been stagnant since the 6th grade. I am 5'2". I would like to grow at least 2 more inches. In my fantasy I would like to be 5'6"-5'10" lol but only in my dreams I guess would this be possible. Anyways I wanna know do people really have an age when they just stop growing? If so whats the age for girls? I have all sorts of heights in my family, but regardless of them, do I still have a chance if i try methods of growing taller? Like what should I eat, drink, do? I know calcium so milk blah blah...what else though?

I don't get what the big deal is. The court only said schools cannot use race as a deciding factor for admissions. It did not say that blacks and white must be separated. Instead of busing kids all over town, just let them go to the neighborhood schools. Or, if they wish to go to other schools, they can provide their own transportation. Every one still has the right to choose a school. Its just now the schools cannot choose you based on race. So why the uproar?
