She could have gotten an infection or a dry socket. It's pretty painful, but can be treated easily. Try not to worry. Do something nice for her for when she comes home.

Sometimes it takes hours to get seen at the Emergency Room, so don't stress if she's not back right away.

Maybe you and your brother can do the dishes or dust or something to help her out.

Good luck! :)

Try not to worry too much,

It sounds as if she may have an infection.

She could be at the hospital some time...but that isn't a bad thing.

There will be a lot of people there so she will have to wait around to see the doctor.
Then she may need to have her blood checked....that's to tell what type of infection it is.

Then she might have to wait to get antibiotics to treat it.

I am sure she will be fine and back home in a few hours

Don't worry

If she was able to take herself to the hospital, I very much doubt it was terribly serious. She was likely just experiencing the symptoms of infection from the dental work, and wanted to get some antibiotics. I wouldn't worry if you can help it, being worried doesn't change anything and it does you no good.

First thing is to try not to panic. Is there an adult with you to talk too? Could be a bad reaction to her dental work. I hope you can talk with another adult who will be able to help settle your mind. I wish you @ Mom good health

I really don't know...sounds super scary though! I hope you figure it out soon and that she gets well soon. She may have wanted to get checked for lymphoma, which is a form of cancer...my friends Dad had it...it's cancer in your lymph nodes. Thats the only thing I can think of. Take care

Maybe she has an abcess but why wouldn't she tell you what is wrong? Go visit her and find out what is happening.
