Try pressing cloves onto the tooth that aches. That may not be so prcatical though so stick a strong antiseptic throat sweet on the sore tooth to numb it.
These are only temporary measures though so go to the dentist if the pain doesn't go away.

Get an appointment with your dentist. It is always best to seek medical help for you teeth. For quick relief, you can try many over the counter painkillers, or try herbal or home alternatives like putting cloves on the area. Wish you well!

Hold a small amount of a spirit (I find a liquer like Benedictine is the best - but it's up to your taste!) over the painful area. It always numbs the pain for me - but I only do this before sleeping whilst waiting for my dentist appointment!

Well, to have the tooth pulled of course, but Ambersol is over the counter and will numb the tooth and the area around it.

Dental insurance, cause with out it the price the dentists will charge you to extract the tooth will hurt way more!!!! Trust me...I know!
