I used to hair long hair when i was a kid. When i transferred to a prodomonently white school in 3rd grade, i was occasionally made fun of when my mom would put my hair in certain hair styles.( I'm African american by the way) She would do cute ponytails with barrettes in my hair. But sometimes she would try something new. Being a kid, you had to let your mom do your hair because you were not old enough to decide for yourself. I was made fun of at some of my hair styles..i must admit i didnt like a few myself. But growing up i started being able to decide on how i wanted my hair to be done. Doin this caused my hair major damage that didnt become noticable until around my 7th grade year. My hair was getting shorter and shorter breaking off. Any advice or hair tips for getting my hair longer and healthier but still look cute? Can this be done before school starts? I'm 15 and becoming a sophmore.

I one day hope to have published a book, but I know that's a tough business to break into. But I love writing, I write so much and I think it would be great if I could find a career where that was a focus. I'm currently at a community college working in a generic associate in arts degree (university transfer) and I looked through the catalog...and they don't really have anything that caters to writing besides two creative writings courses with no attachments to a specific degree. I plan to take them both, but I'm just in limbo taking random classes. I've thought about journalism, what kind of career is that and stuff? (well what it is is obvious haha.). Any thoughts would be great :)

I've vented to a good friend about my husband in emails, and she has replied with advice and sometimes agreeing with my standpoint. Come to find out, my husband was reading the emails....and then insisted that I wasn't friends with her. (He doesn't seem to want me to have any contact with others). I feel that if he would treat me with respect, I wouldn't have a reason to vent to begin with....and I've only vented when I'm really upset. I haven't really had contact with this friend for over a year and he still brings her up and tries to say she was a home-wrecker....when he should look at his own behavior and understand that I only vented because of the heat of the moment. He has a tendancy to want to keep me all to himself and blame outside influences for things that happen behind closed doors even though the blame falls within our marriage and the problems are there because of the disrespect that goes on and the lack of trust. I'm very depressed about things. What to do??

I dont know what to call it so I am going to try an describe it.I have a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600 and the thing that holds the coolant fluid, I guess, (its on the left side by the gear shifter) is cracked because I dropped it a few days ago. I need to buy a new one of those things so does anyone know of any online parts store or any store near the DFW area that would have one. preferably an online store.

I recently got a job at a truck stop that sells fried food, including chicken livers and gizzards. I have accidentally confused the livers and the gizzards and given customers the wrong thing. I'm 33, but I have been a vegetarian since I was about 15. I remember eating fried chicken livers when I was a kid, but that was a long time ago. Am I the only one here who thinks that chicken livers and gizzards look alike?
