How did all of the current living animals, 20 billion animals (10 billion species on earth x2 for mating), and all of the extinct ones (Dinosaurs, ???, etc.) fit on the ark? My cat, for example, is about 10 lbs in weight and about 18" long, 8" wide, and 10" tall, which is roughly 1440 cubic inches. I know there are larger and smaller animals, but if there were supposedly dinosaurs on the ark, I think using my cat as the average is a conservative estimate. So, not even accounting for "leg room" that would come out to be 200,000,000,000 pounds (100,000,000 tons) of weight and approx 2,400,000,000,000 cubic feet of space. Standing surface alone must be (using 18"x8" *20bil) 240,000,000,000 square feet, which is about 47,058,823.5 square miles, or 23% of the earths surface(196,935,000 square miles). This doesn't even approach logistics of feed and excrement. How could the ark story be possibly true? Why not simply interpret it as a metaphor? Thoughts? Comments?

Alright, so I have a Toshiba laptop A45-S121 (or something like that). The warranty has expired and it keeps shutting off from overheating. I checked the fan and it's completely clogged with dust. The entire blade is totally covered. I would take off the back and try and clean the fan but I'm not sure how. Compressed air won't work because it'll just blow the dust into the computer and clog something else. What should I do?

Im 33, Seems like the only way out of my emotional turmoil would be to die. I am so depressed now after years of battling severe anxiety and panic attacks. I feel there are no more options, I want to just give up. I’ve been battling this for over 12 years now. I have been on Xanax for 12 years as well. Sometimes it takes the edge off, but that’s it.
I kinda got better for the last 4 years, I was able to travel short distances like 10-20 miles, but out of the blue, I started freaking again, for no reason. Now I can barely get out my front door again.
I feel I have nothing to offer, and nothing to give anyone. I’m pretty much useless, sitting here wondering why I was even born.I never got to get married, I never got to have kids because of this. My life has passed me by. I am so tired of these feelings. I never have not one day of peace, I am in a constant state of anxiety and panic, checking my feelings constantly, my God I can’t do anything. What’s the use in living, I have had enough!

Ok so I can play the guitar, and am musically inclined, and know I can sing...but my voice is very low, and I can't sing the majority of songs. Can anyone provide me with a great song, that i can play on the guitar and sing along with? Not like a rockband, like a solo achustic preformance for people around a fire. I set up the tank for my African Dwarf Frogs today and when I put the thermometer in I noticed the temperature was just staying at 80 degrees. I tried shaking it down to 70 but it was really difficult. My question is do mercury thermometers go down as the temperature gets colder? Or do you have to keep shaking it?

I am almost 15; born into a digital thermometer world lol so I dont know much about the mercury ones.

i have been in a relationship with 'joe' for over a year. shortly before we met, he had asked his wife for a divorce. she didn't agree to it even though he was adimant about not wanting to work it out. we have become extremely close. joe's wife is aware of our relationship and that we love each other. she still doesnt want to pursue a divorce. how can someone choose to live in a marriage when the spouse doesnt want to be there? there are no children involved. when he pushes for legal actions she threatens to harm herself. should i go or should i stay?

The biblical concepts of sin and salvation are an integral part of Christian doctrine. Christianity first creates a problem (sin) and then offers a "solution" (salvation). This is not unlike the protection racket; you either buy protection - OR ELSE.
