I'm answering in BOTH sections/questions. You are partially at fault....but.

Is your insurance refusing to pay?

#1 Was a ticket issued to you?

#2 If NO ticket was issued. Tell your agent, that you intend to hire a lawyer. If that doesn't get results...hire one.

#3 Your insurance agent can NOT convict you of a traffic violation. Nor can they issue you a ticket.

#4 Unless the Officer at the scene issued you a ticket...you have done NOTHING wrong.

This law comes with a fine of $100 and/or up to 30 days in jail. You would know if you were guilty of this "crime". As does your insurance agent.

Get a new insurance company that does not give dangerous advice. Call your local police station/district court to look up that law for you.

That's a new one to me. If you want to find out for sure, check out your state's driver's manual. It's probably online or you could go pick one up at the DMV. I've never heard of that or have seen anyone else do that, though.

It's wrong, im guessing a single person told you this, just ignore them talk to someone else.

In every business, theres always one person whos full of B.S., just kindly ask them to hand the phone over to someone else.

That is BS. If someone is behind you in the left lane though, and they flash their lights it means "Move over so I can pass idiot left lane hogger!"

This may be customary in England or Europe.
But it's certainly not done in North America.

FLASHING YOUR LIGHTS AND SOUNDING THE HORN WOULD ONLY CONFUSE THE OTHER DRIVER AND MAKE THEM WONDER WHAT THE HECK YOU ARE DOING.YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY HAS AN IDIOT WORKING THERE.

They are full of it. They must be ditching the claim. Get a lawyer.
