There was some bad stuff going on when I was little; spankings, having to change/use the bathroom w/doors open (so she could always see what I was doing), and when my parents split her wrath focused on how I was the cause of all her problems (she said my dad loved me more than her).

As I've gotten older, I've tried to forgive and put it behind me while at the same time reaching out to her. The rude awakening came when I was planning my wedding - she had nothing to do with it. Nothing. She showed up - that's it.

Over the years, I keep trying but to no avail. I'm tired of it.
I felt rejected by her when I was a child because I did nothing right, and I still feel this way - but talking about it w/her turns into about her and her fears.
I've been to counseling and was told to act as tho she was dead, but that seems so cruel. I want her to reach out to me for once!

Is that too much to ask?

I am going this weekend to my grandparents cabin in Swains Creek, Utah. According to Utah's gun laws, is it legal to fire my rifle not at a gun range, but at targets in the forest? I know in some states its legal as long as you are a certain distance from people or a road. What are the rules for Utah?

Given that most faiths espouse deities that espouse no other deities other than those that they uniquely claim--in other words, that the beliefs of most faiths are exclusive to the beliefs of most other faiths--what substantiates one faith over another? A Muslim God where there is only one God, and a Greek god where there are no other gods but the traditional Greek, are faiths that cannot be SIMULTANEOUSLY true in the same universe (and yes, there is only one UNIverse). What's the deal? I await your knee-jerk reactions, but more happily await reasoned discussion.

I currently have 4 fish; 2 cherry barbs and 2 corydoras catfish. I have a ten gallon, heated tank. I would like to purchase a PAIR of fish but I want SOMETHING TOTALY DIFFERENT than most people want to purchase. I want something easy to take care of and easily pleased.

Could you please leave some information about the fish (compatibility, tank size and etc.) so I know how to take care of it? Thank you....I just want something easy and different!

Curious. Any religious zealot please answer. Is it better to cherry pick from various parts of your holy book to fit the argument (even if the quoted part may be from something that is unrelated) or do you rather use the work as a whole.

For example, if you came to the biology board and said Goddidit. I would refute it by using the Theory of Evolution. Not just part and parcel, but all of it. I don't like to cherry pick. How about you?
