So I have 3 credit cards: Amex, Chase, and a Visa from BofA. I now only use the Amex and Chase, and no longer use the Visa anymore. It's been almost 3 months and I have 0 balance for that visa. Is that bad for your credit score? Should I cancel it?

I know that African Americans were once discriminated against in the Mormon Church. There was once a piece of Mormon scripture thought to say that dark skin was cursed.

Then in the 1970s this was changed and they said that dark skin was not a curse.

I am wondering if race is still in any way an issue with LDS Church doctrine. Is there any role that a black person is prohibited from holding in the LDS Church? Do any barriers remain, doctrinally or politically?

1. The bible is not unadulterated truth. It contradicts itself and contains actions that are evil, and therefore unholy.
God orders moses to kill a man who is caught gathering wood on the sabbath. This is the opposite of forgiveness and evil, it could not have been ordered by God.
God is subject to his own rules. Goodness is his nature, therefore even though he is all powerful he cannot order evil to occur. He could, but he wont. Therefore God does not support war, or crusades, or any form of persecution.
God shows his infinite power in his ability to give powers to his creations. If he were to assist people materially (i.e. wealth and power) he would be responsible for any sin they incur after having attained it. If God put Bush into power, he is responsible for all the sins Bush has caused with his power.
Terrorists use God to justify their sinful actions. So do evangelicals. God bestows his graces on sinful and holy people.
For many are called, but few are chosen. Mat 22:14

My brother buys and sells cars on a weekly basis. He has a California dealer license that allows him to sell up to 22 cars as an individual without a "real dealership". He buys them 1 or 2 at a time from auctions and profit around $2,000 each car. I dont think he pays tax since its all cash, can he get in trouble ? Can the IRS find out ? He doesn't have any other jobs just buys and sells cars with cash. He doesn't have any type of liability insurance for the type of business that he is doing so may be at risk for potential exposure to law suits. I'm concen about his way of doing things. Any answers, feedbacks, and advice would greatly be appreciated

I'm helping my daughter with a math problem......here's the question:

Expenses = 5 + 12x
Income = 25 + 14x
Therefore, Profit = (25 +14x) - (5 +12x) right?

Now the question is.....How many sweatshirts "x" must be sold to "break even"?

The way I worked the problem was to make Profit "P" equal to zero. But when I do this, I come out with x = -10 shirts. I know that can't be right. What are we doing wrong? Please explain in detail so we can understand where we went wrong. Thanks!

I'll try not to spoil the move for those who have not yet seen it. Near the end, when he is holding the 'content of the chest' with the knife in his hand, and talking to Davy Jones (during the excellent climax battle), I'm sure I hear Jack say 'electronic'. Was this part of pirate vocabulary/is my hearing bad??? Thanks!- Naz

I have an old house (80 or 90 years) and I want to redo the dining room. It has molding everywhere (floor, chair, crown, doors, etc.) the boards look and feel sturdy enough. I need to strip most of the paint on the molding and re-paper and paint the whole room.
I don't mind making this a huge project as far as labor as long as I keep the cost down.
Would it be a good idea to take the molding off the walls to strip and prime them and to make papering the walls easier?

Can you guys give me any other tips?

I just found a penny and at first I thought it was a dime because of its color but it's really a penny. It has a little bit of a copper color in it, very faint, but it's mainly silver. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this?
