I have not heard any news in regards to this event. I feel that its a event that does not bother me at all. After all, this country is the Land of Opportunity and I feel that everyone is entitled to it.

Yeh of course, If the US is restarting the cold war, then a lot of Russian spies will come over...
But they are getting more rich with oil, so they are getting out of the mess they were in a few years back...
Also the rise of Putin scares a lot of Russian now... There is as much democracy in Russia than in China....

My guess; this news is part of the Gov strategy to raise people awarness of the Russian "threat"... This is all B.S...
Look like we are seeing more and more propaganda here than ever before... This news would have been logical if stated after the collapse of USSR, but now? With the nuclear shield case around, it can't be a coincidence...

I only know of a wave of American's investing in real estate in Russia and the Ukraine. This has been going on for a few years now. We are entering into Globalization full swing ahead.

I hadn't heard that. I did hear they were thinking of letting some eastern European countries into the visa waiver program, depending on the country's 'visa failure' rate (i.e. history of returning when the visa is over.) That is interesting. My problem is overall numbers and drain on services. Legal immigration under limits designed to protect those services doesn't bother me.

I do not think so...

The oil and gas tap in Russia is running well and Russia is now a prosperous country.

They are moreover very proud of their country and I am not sure they would emigrate.

Their birth rate is very low, their population average (120 million) and decreasing.

The population density is very low and the natural resources (all kind of) per capita are some of the highest in the world

Even close by individuals are not close by.. they got here across the Bering immediately from Russia and tailored to the land over some a protracted time. That replaced into what human beings did that when there have been few human beings and numerous empty land. whilst the early settlers got here to u.s. there wasn't that a lot of human beings residing right here, some tailored, some have been given killed and a few died of ailment or starvation. It wasn't precisely person-friendly to immigrate in the 1700s in case you survived the long boat holiday. In later situations like the 1800s, you went with the aid of Ellis Island you had to have the excellent documentation. i think of they used Treasure Island for those on the West Coast. You had to have the right place of work work or you went lower back on the boat that day. that's certainty. whilst i replaced right into somewhat female in the later area of the final century, not purely did you would be able to desire to have a sponsor in this u . s . yet they had to sign place of work work that stated you had a place for them to stay and a job earlier they'd immigrate. you besides mght signed them up for English training and citizenship courses. of direction there replaced into purely a undeniable selection that replaced into allowed in according to annum. So your kinfolk could wait a million-10 years counting on what u . s . they have been from, i think of there replaced into an exception for the period of the potato famine in eire, 1000's of individuals have been dying, many went to England ,yet some went to u.s. searching for his or her pot of gold. What they got here across replaced into discrimination not because of the fact of their dermis coloration yet because of the fact of their accents and their Catholic faith which in those days you had to positioned on your interest application. It wasn't unusual to work out signs and indications on shops or enterprise's no Irish choose prepare. all people gets discriminated against till they study the language and adapt their new u . s .'s way of life. i think of why human beings get disenchanted is that the hot immigrants do not study English, do not adapt yet choose our u . s . to conform to them that may not the way its executed everywhere.
