I'm just wondering if it is hard to get noticed by colleges while playing high school sports (specifically volleyball, basketball, softball).
Is there anything I can do to get more attention?
I really want a SPORTS scholarship...if at all possible!

You should know that the odds are severely stacked against you. The numbers are rather daunting, as only the best of the best get any sort of scholarship. (I contributed to a book on the subject once.)

But it never hurts to try. So work hard, do your best, and talk to your coach about it. He or she is a good starting point, and may have some contacts in the field that can help you. If there's a local college, don't be afraid to talk to someone there in your field.

By the way, don't call the media and ask for coverage. That will merely annoy them. If you are good, the reporters will get to you.
