I have heard my whole live that 220v AC cost more to cycle but less to run over all that a 110v AC.
Is this true or just another wives tail?

Im due on 6/13 and have Gestational Diabetes...I have to take one shot of insulin every morning. The diet the dietian put me on is horrible...example
**Bfast; half a bagel/tbsp of cream cheese (plain) 3 pieces of canadian bacon/possible glass of milk (depending on sugar level before bf.) WTF!! Seriously!! I cheat terriblly because an hour later Im hungry again!
Snack: 6 animal crackers/tbsp peanut butter. Who eats like this?
Anyway I still check my sugar levels and depending on if I follow the diet to a T its fine but then at night, I eat xtra before I go to bed. When I eat more portions my sugar levels are higher, sometimes. So now my doctor keeps saying if I dont control it, my baby will have to stay behind with an IV...what were your personal experiences? During and after birth!

Let's say we're going on Safari in Africa for several weeks without contact with a town, with the goal of seeing as much wildlife as possible.

Obivously you'd need a gun to hunt food, everything from game birds to red meat. And as back up you'd need something in case you were cornered by a big cat (or similar pred). Bearing in mind the terrain would vary between wide open plains to rainforest with literally a few feet of visibility and barely enough room to swing a gun.

You were only allowed one gun.

Keeping all of this in mind, what would you go for? Rifle, shotgun, and what loading mechanism? What calibre or gauge? Remember you could be shooting anything from wildebeest to pigeons.

I wonder how the word Christian has went from ascetic peace seeker to fear mongering Gonzalez and other Attny Generals who used their office to promote own views and discourage others

even more curious is how Fox News has become nothing more than state sponsored / corporate sponsored fear/hate of others, supposedly 'God fearing', supposedly "fair and ballanced" but really an entertainment and nothing about reporting facts just "talking points" that are prejudiced

My dad rarely gets a fever but he now has a fever of 102 point something. It is rising even though an hour ago he toke a Motrin (for fever and pain). I gave him another blanket and put a wet papertowel on his forehead. Is there anything else I can do to help him? He refuses to sleep because he says if he sleeps now he'll be up all night. So what else can I do?

Now anything can be mentioned whether it simply be a marketing aspect, changing some aspect of the game, or something entirely unrelated that will help gain attention. The good kind of attention at least. I heard recently that the NHL ranks the same as the WNBA and Indy-Car in the popularity in the USA. Now unlike those sports the NHL regulary has sold out arenas and good attendence. So what can be done to increase the NHL popularity?

There is a junco nest in my backyard and she has 2 beautiful babies and 1 stray egg that fell out of the nest. I dont know if it is fertile or not but since the mother was nowhere near it and it was out of the nes I put it in my duck incubator with no duck eggs in it. Considering it is fertile what temperatures will it need to properly hatch. Please do not tell me I made a bad choice because what help does that do because theres no hope of putting it back.
