You can't play the sims 2 online, buy you can play the sims online, which you have to pay for.

Try http://www.sims2.com since they have a whole lot of downloadables there, but I can't say about the game, but they have the items for the houses or the items that can be downloaded right into the game once you have the game on your computer. Cool sight, too.
