Always liked this question, makes you think.
"When asked the color of the night sky, it is tempting to say, “black, of course!” However, that is not really correct. It looks black to us because there is not enough light to stimulate the color-sensitive cones in our eyes, even though there is light in the nighttime sky, and it has color. Away from city lights or other interfering light sources, the night sky, illuminated by moonlight is blue, similar to the sunlit daytime sky."

The light from the sky is a result of diffuse sky radiation which results in a dark purple colo. being perceived by the human eye. On a sunny day the earth sky usually looks as a yellow gradient — dark in the zenith, light near the horizon (due to Rayleigh scattering). It can turn a multitude of colors such as green (especially near sunset and sunrise) and black at night. Scattering effects also partially polarize light from the sky.
Sky luminance distribution models have been recommended by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE) for the design of daylighting schemes. Recent developments relate to “all sky models” for modeling sky luminance under weather conditions ranging from clear sky to overcast sky

The sky is always colorless(black) however light may affect the way we see it, for example during the day the atmosphere bends the blue rays of light from the sun which is why the sky is usually blue during the day.

The color of the sky does not change during night cause it only the movement of the earth that cause day and night.

ya know..... theres really no such thing as black.....
theres just really really dark SOMETHING.
black is like the complete absence of light... and since light is reflected infinitely (although it becomes less and less detectable) there is light where ever there is space
