I started dating my boyfriend 3 years ago. He has not really befriended any of my friends, though they have all reached out to him. Last year one of my best friend's husbands invited him on a guys camping trip. He said he would go but then he cancelled at the last minute. This year, the same guy invited him again to go on a guys camping trip. My bf again said he would go, but then today called me to say that he had to work and would have to cancel. (The trip is one week away). Not only is he putting me in the middle, I really want my friends to like him, and now they are going to think that he is someone who goes back on his word, or is a flake. I am an only child whose parents are deceased--my friends are my family--so it is important that he and my friends get along. What gives?

I sent a gift to my cousin for her birthday. I sent her an e-mail letting her know that she should look for two packages - one from UPS and one from Federal Express arriving by Friday of this week.

She did not respond to the e-mail.

One of the gifts was delivered yesterday. She did not reply or say anything. I did speak to her.

The other gift will be delivered today. I was hoping she would call and say if she liked them.

If she does not call, should I feel hurt and upset or am I asking too much?

My elderly friend (80's) lives alone and has mobility issues. He hates meals on wheels and lives mostly on take-out. I want to prepare some meals and freeze them so he can microwave them later. I already know I'll make him my lasagne and beef stew since both freeze and reheat nicely. I need some other ideas, and also any recommendations for containers that go well from freezer to microwave.

He has no dietary restrictions, however nutrition is important since he has been diagnosed with sever anemia from poor nourishment and needed a blood transfusion this week because of it.

I've been there for a while and they asked me if I was planing on staying "permanently" when they hired me and I said yeah. BUT, I hate it and I have been looking at different job postings that I feel would be more interesting. If I get a new job, can I tell my boss that I got recruited to a better paying job? I want to leave on good terms and I'm afraid if I tell them I'm quitting because I got another job, they'll get pissed off especially since my boss specifically asked me if I was planing on staying with the company for a long time.

I am looking for a necklace from Tiffany & Co.
It looks like a charm bracelet type of thing but its a necklace and where the thing goes thru to hook it... its a circle and it has diamonds on it. And it has a heart like as a charm.
I needed to find the price b/c my brothers and i are getting one for my sister. I can't find it on their website but her friend just got one last month... but her parents aren't sure of the price.

Just started this computer course about 5 weeks ago.Got a exam on monday.
