I'm 26 years old and just broke my leg in a car/motorcycle accident. I was on the motorcycle. This is the first bone I've broken and now I'll have a cast for 6-8 weeks. What a way to ruin the summer. What did you break and how did you break it? How long did it take to heal?

If we sold our home at the end of June, who would pay the July property taxes that are due at the begining of July - us the sellers or the buyers? Just wondering how that worked. I mean, that would probably be a pain for buyers to have to go and pay the taxes right after they move in.

I was on my way home from work a few nights ago and heard that Bush declared himself dictator.

I haven't heard anything about it since.

Everytime i start to eat loads my weight goes down and when i eat less i gain weight? Whats that all about? That way i find it hard to lose weight because it feels unnatural to lose weight by eating more (!?!?!) so i end up eating less and gaining weight. What do i do?

names of God and I just finished learning a new name. One of the names of God is Jehovah--Shalom, meaning "The Lord is Peace." How awesome is that? In His Word it talks about the Lord bringing us peace, but for that to actually be one of His names. It is my understanding that God wants us all to feel His peace. When we have Him in our lives, honestly, why should we feel anything but? One of the names of Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
In Isaiah we see this verse:
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
What does that tell us, dear friends? If we keep our mind focused on God and trust in Him, He will give us perfect peace. I think that means even in times of strife, even in times of depression, no matter what we are going through in our lives.

if you are going through troublesome times, embrace Jehovah--Shalom, He wants you to be at peace. The Lord is Peace. Please email me if you have prayer requests.

I just saw him on GMA. He referred to our democracy at least ten times. We do not have a Democracy, we have a Representative Republic which is much more protective of individual rights and freedoms. I can't understand why almost half of the population voted for this buffoon in 2000. If the Democrats want any credibility they need to find more intelligent people with greater integrity. There current crop is no better even if they aren't as big liars.

It seems that there are more and more car bombings and suicide bombers, people committing suicide and takings others with them. What's the driving force for this increase in what I'd call bizarre behavior. It's a non-sequitur. Some of it is religiously motivated, but others seem to madness or maybe a disease. The religiously motivated ones are a disease too. Is there a philosophical reason behind this?

Okay so I was so worried something was wrong with my pregnancy because there were lots of tests for my HCG turns out I am having twins and everything looks good so far. I am very excited but overwhelmed. One of my concerns is the cost of raising two newborn babies.
