I'm Catholic but i'm not proud to be one. I think this is just the idea of Spaniards. They conquered nations long ago and implemented catholicism. I was baptized at the age of 1, do i have a choice? I am also thinking why Catholic church are against birth control?
I don’t know if anyone here is aware that a number of
years ago the crime rate for theft and robbery in the
US went down but about half over just a few years, the
reason was simple, it was about 17 years after the
legalization of abortion. About 80% of these crimes
were performed by youths that did not get the
opportunity to grow up in a family unit but were
either single parent families or simply an unwanted
burden of their parents. It would seem so easy to any
educated person that a massive reduction in theft,
violence, child prostitution etc could be achieved
simply by the Priests preaching contraception and
restraint instead of “go forth and multiply
(regardless of the social consequence)”.

BUT.... What about all the crap that Bill O’Really says every single day agaist mexicans?

I'm not supporting the booing, but, they were mexican citizens living and working IN MEXICO, just like the minute men and Bill O’Really, and Neil Cabuto in the USA.

If mexicans insult an american is the lower thing in the world, and the "americans are very moral superior than that buch of savages" but people like Bill O’Really or the minute men, insult the mexicans not only in the 60 seconds wich last the boooing to Miss USA, but by hours and hours every day in the american media.

Isn't nice when you are the victim of stupid insults right???

(And yes my english is awful, so what? i'm living in Mexico City.

So its a move that is complete opposites. I am moving from rainy puget sound..Wa state, to Nevada, close to vegas. I was just wondering on some of the things i might need to know before leaving.
I am used too 200 days of rain, moving to 5 days a year. IS that going to affect me at all, like in a weird medical way? Will it affect sinuses or anything like that? Also elevation at my home in wa, is close to 70 feet. The town i am moving too is 2710...IS that going to make a difference. I realize these are all not very important, like a wait and see till you get there, but i was just curious. What can i do to prepare myself? I have been working on getting a nice tan before i go down, honestly, so i wouldnt burn my *** off. But what else could i be doing?
Also the heat down in Nevada, is a dry heat? I cant really remember. i went to vaca there a couple times. But of course never lived.
Anyone have any suggestiongs?

I'm not a mormon but I just got interested in those stuffs so I visited the LDS website. They had that free delievery of book of mormon, so I just signed up. I was just curious what they believe and tenets. And now, as I signed up, there was a message that missionaries will visit me to bring that book! I though I they would give me in parcel. And here's my question. Will they force me or make me feel uncomfortable to have me become a Mormon? I don't dislike mormons obviously, I just need my own time to learn the tenets all that stuff.

After getting all of Pope Benedict's luggage loaded into the limo, (and he doesn't travel light), the driver notices that the Pope is still standing on the curb.
"Excuse me, Your Holiness," says the driver," Would you please take your seat so we can leave?"
"Well, to tell you the truth," says the Pope, "they never let me drive at the Vatican when I was a Cardinal, and I'd really like to drive today."
"I'm sorry, Your Holiness, but I cannot let you do
that. I'd lose my job! And what if something should happen?" protests the driver, wishing he'd never gone to work that morning. "Who's going to tell? Besides, there might be something extra in it for
you," says the Pope with a smile. Reluctantly, the driver gets in the back as the Pope climbs in behind the wheel. The driver quickly regrets his decision when, after exiting the airport, the Pontiff floors it, accelerating the limo to 105 mph. (Remember, he's a German Pope.)
"Please slow down, Your Holiness!" pleads the worried driver, but the Pope keeps the pedal to the metal until they hear sirens.
"Oh, dear God, I'm gonna lose my license -- and my job!" moans the driver.
The Pope pulls over and rolls down the window as the cop approaches, but the cop takes one look at him, goes back to his motorcycle, and gets on the radio. "I need to talk to the Chief," he says to the
dispatcher. The Chief gets on the radio and the cop tells him that he's stopped a limo going a hundred and five.
"So bust him," says the Chief."I don't think we want to do that, he's really important," said the cop. The Chief exclaimed," Allthe more reason!" "No, I mean really important," said the cop with a
bit of persistence. The Chief then asked, "Who ya got there, the Mayor?" Cop: "Bigger." Chief: " The Governor?" Cop: "Bigger."
Chief: "The President?" Cop: "Bigger." "Well," said the Chief, "Who is it?" Cop: "I think it's God!" The Chief is even more puzzled and curious, "What makes you think it's God?" Cop: "He's got the Pope as a chauffeur !
