Often atheists and believers argue over the reality of God each side sticking to its own level of awareness and believing that the other is wrong But God is neither a thing nor a person to be argued God is an experience that can be felt only in a certain state of mind It is a feeling of bondless freedom, limitless vastness, unbroken time that is always in the present For gaining this experience, the analytical mind is an obstruction, individuality a limitation, and intellectual arguments only a source of confusion. The ultimate reality is beyond description. One can only feel it within oneself when ego is detached from the self Those who have experienced are convinced beyond doubt It is futile to argue on grounds of rationality and analytic thought Personalisation of God is a convenience devised to heighten the emotional connection to enable the experience at the level of feelings Intellect gives information but intuitive experience has significance of its own, no point mixing the two.
