Most of the world get's warmed, in the last decade there have been a few isolate spots where cooling has been observed most notably in the Pacific Ocean. On land there has been cooling in parts of Antarctica and central South America. The prediction by the end of the century is that every part of the planet will be warmer with the greatest effects being on land and especially within the Arctic Circle.

It's easier to illustrate using maps so I've uploaded a couple here http://profend.com/global-warming/temporary/page1.html

Global Warming and Global Climate Change as caused by mankind are a myth.

Why are people believeing Al Gore. This is the man who, in the early 90s, said "I invented the Internet".

THINK for a bit. Temperatures vary from city to city in the same area. Temperatures where I live are routinely 3-4 degrees different from the temperatures in the city that is 20 miles away from me.

The record High and Low temperatures on any given date vary up to 30 degrees sometimes and there is no trend that you can spot.

Think about what an AVERAGE is, how it is worked out mathematically. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GLOBAL AVERAGE TEMPERATURE.

This planet has been warming slowly since the last ICE AGE, That is why there are no glaciers over much of North America anymore. It is due to the normal, cyclical radiation output of a type G yellow star. (Our Sun). Yes the polar ice caps are receeding. The polar ice caps on MARS are receeding at about the same rate. Are we doing anything to cause that?

Yes, as a people we need to reduce pollution and our impact on the environment, but Global Climate Change is a buzz word to try to induce a panic so that leftists can take control of private property.

Why CO2 levels? There are two other prominent gasses that are far worse in terms of "Greenhouse Effect". They are Methane, which come from cattle farts, and water vapour, which we can do nothing about.

Why pick 1990 as a base line. That is simply an arbitrary date, there is no scientific basis for it at all.

Governments are trying to put more stringent pollution controls on cars, and trying to ban incandescant light bulbs, but they don't seem to notice that one gasoline lawnmower puts out as much pollution as any 30 cars. They don't try to ban them.

When anyone stands up for a cause, follow the money. Find out WHY. You usually find out that the cause is secondary.

If everyone is following a certain line of thought, the truth is usually the opposite. Before jumping on these band wagons, do a little research, get your facts straight and THINK.

There is almost no eveidence to support these peoples theories, because it is bad science. They develop their theory and then take measurements designed to support their theory.

The proponents of global climate change, Global Warming, are trying to extrapolate 1000 year trends from 125 years of data. Further, the amount of change that they are measuring is less that the error rate of the measuring devices available even 50 years ago.

You are talking about a rise of 0.56 degrees Celscius over 100 years. 100 years ago, we didn't have measuring equipment sensitive enough to accurately record temperature differences that small.

An Innconveinient Truth seems to me to be more of a convenient lie!!!

Let's see, what's the hysteria this week? Perhaps you ought to check later... power-mad Chicken Littles will conveniently have a different answer by then.
Environmentalism as we know it --as Leonardo DiCaprio, PETA and Greenpeace know it-- is the most powerful and destructive religion since Inquisition-era Christianity. It's getting harder to be an atheist in a world where scientists have become as gullible as a desperate kid at a tent revival. Like contemporary creationists, environmentalists 'cherry pick' through the facts of reality, accepting whatever appears to support their beliefs and simply disregarding the rest.
dr.dryice is right-- this is about people control, NOT pollution control. Eminent domain is already being used by the eternally wise bureaucrats to appropriate private property in the name of an anthropomorphised lump of rock spinning in space, aka "Mother Earth".
This planet's climate has been changing for billions of years; you can't legislate that away, but we can certainly harm millions of innocent humans (and other organisms!) by trying selflessly in the proud service of eco-fascism.

i don't know how you got the idea that some parts of the world are actually getting cooler, even the north pole is getting warmer

those areas who are getting more rains and snows are most likely getting cooler weather than before.

the nights get colder the days get hotter ,like in the dessert
Last year people in Chiapas froze to death at night

And in france they died of a heat wave during the day

In the Sahara you freeze in the night and cook in the day

I doubt anyone actually knows where - they have climate models - but most do not full agree on anything
