I'm working with an external web-based application that schedules training sessions.

We want to improve integration with the Lotus Notes running on
employee desktops.

What I'd like to do is, when we create an automated email
confirmation with class signup, create a script or have the actual email document create an appointment entry for the time of that class.

I do quite a bit of programming, but am pretty new to Lotus Notes.

First of all, is this feasible, and, if so, can someone point me to
the best place to step me through how to do it?

Would the email document itself be the appointment document? Would it be some sort of attachment that would do this, or do I need to create some kind of executable script that would run off of a button on the HTML email document?

I am 38 and a half weeks pregnant and my cervix doesn't seem to be doing much of anything. With my first pregnancy I wound up getting induced at 41 weeks and it was pure hell, and after 30 hours of labor i was still only 2 cm dilated, so i had to have a c-section. I really don't want to have another c-section and i really don't want to go late again either, I definitely feel closer than i did with my first, but my OBGYN says she cant fit even one fingertip in my cervix yet, could there be something wrong with my cervix that keeps it from dilating? If so, should i jsut schedule a c-section? my dr. says she realy doesn't want to induce me again because it didn't really help me last time, but i am so uncomfortable and i just want my baby to come. any advice or opinions?

I went to go see my guy friend this weekend. We live 3 hours away from each other. There are different things that he said that made me wonder if he is starting to want more. I told him about a job that was open and he said well they have jobs like that here too. Then he was talking about guy nights and how he felt like if he was serious with someone he could not have that. Then he said well with the right girl I probably could. Was he hinting or am I totally misreading him?

I don’t have time to get into detail about it, but basically being raised as a JW screwed me up. Basically they show you a negative view of the world and yourself as a place hopelessly sinful and corrupt. You aren’t supposed to closely associate with non-JW’s they always said, ‘Bad association spoils useful habits.’ My boyfriend never really comprehended how bad it was and still doesn't. He didn't believe all the stuff I told him about it until last night. My sister sent me an email about a dream she had about Armageddon. It included all of the usually JW terms and some of the beliefs of the cult. It wasn’t really that bad and didn’t come close to exposing the painful beliefs of the JW’s but he got really upset when he read it. He actually started to cry once he saw how screwed up it was. He apologized for not believing me about my bad upbringing. I was angry a bit but also relieved because he for so long didn’t believe what I said, but at least now he does.
Most JW’s will not tell you about all of the negatives and psychological damage growing up in it can cause. There are the moderate JW’s the ones that don’t really abide by all of the beliefs the sect encourages. These people are usually normal and aren’t like the old time JW’s which are strict and separated from the world. The old time JW’s psychologically destroy their children with their strict and mindless beliefs. If you don’t know about JW’s you should do some research. There are many bias sites though and their official site ignores negative things about their belief. I suggest buying a book or finding any internet site with .edu.
If you would like to read about my sisters dream of Armageddon then ask and I will send it to you. It is vital to understand the struggles of others blowing a person’s pain off only hurts them more.

I am the Director of an Economic Development Corp where we awarded a grant to a local (small town) restaurant. It has been open for 5 months but is struggling - big time. We are a very small town, isolated by distance and "word of mouth" takes only one or two days to make the rounds.

There are several things working against this restaruant:

1. Quality of food is no better than the local "favorite" (it is tasty, but not better)
2. Portion sizes are smaller
3. Price is higher
4. Menu is about the same (with same or similar choices)

My delimma is that we will require our (substantial) grant to be repaid if it fails and I don't want to see that happen.

Is it my place to speak to the owner - suggest menu changes and serving ideas that may help compete in a "tough crowd" environment?

How could I approach the owner to say that changes are needed? They have already closed the doors for one week, due to no money to pay their payroll taxes. I want to help.

How about a divorced/remarried person...how can they be a Christian..because they continue to live in adultery each day they are with their new spouse...

How about an obese person...how can they be a Christian...because they continue to live with the sin of gluttony each day they are not eating well and exercising...your body is the temple of God...and we are to keep ourselves clean and healthy in mind and body.

How about someone who filed bankruptcy...how can they be a Christian...because each day they do not repay their debt, they are continuing to live in sin by stealing...and not repaying their loan.

I could go on and on...smokers, those who use too much caffeine...those addicted to coffee in the morning...

Why do so many want to judge other's hearts...I don't believe that is of God.

We have thousands of Muslim terrorist/extremist groups threatening to convert or kill you all over the world! The country of Iran is one of them! As you will see from my past questions, i have been diagnosed with anorexia. I am really desperate to talk to someone i know well about it.
