My husband's mother is always trying to tell me how to raise my children. I think it's because she was not in my husband's life when he was a child, so she tries to make up for it by telling us how to raise our children. He get's really mad when she does it and we have not anwered the pone for her in 2 weeks. But how do we tell her that we can raise our children without her help in a nice way? Seeing as how she wasn't a good mother to my husband.

"Look to Mars for the truth on global warming"
(Link courtesy of RLP)

"These parallel global warmings -- observed simultaneously on Mars and on Earth -- can only be a straightline consequence of the effect of the one same factor: a long-time change in solar irradiance."

"The sun's increased irradiance over the last century, not C02 emissions, is responsible for the global warming we're seeing, says the celebrated scientist, and this solar irradiance also explains the great volume of C02 emissions."

If you are in a deserted island, and were given 2 choices, which would you pick? A or B? Why?

A) Bring as many things that is directly related to faith (i.e. Bible, cross, Qur'an, Tanakh, Magic 8-Ball, prayers, etc.)

or

B) Take a single object that's directly related to science/technology (i.e. boat, airplane, cell phone, H20, etc.)

unlike the European countries it didn't have colonies,
after WW2 in which the u.s lost millions of soldiers in Europe
to help free it ,even though Germany never officially declared war on the U.S
it was the only country with nukes ,Europe and Asia
were pretty much ruined - it could have easily taken over the world ,and didn't.
Korea and Vietnam were fought against the communist not in order to concore those countries
after 9/11 the u.s attacked 1st the country that was the base of al qaida- what is illegitimate about that??
Iraq -maybe more questionable but not illegitimate ,the Iraqis were a threat on the U.S.
the killing now are not done by Americans.

The lyrics go something like....." Maybe in another life, I would find you there. --------I cant beat it so unfair. And it feels and it feels like heavens so far away. And it feels like the world has grown cold now that you've gone away".
