I was in shock! I never really liked her much, but I feel awful!
Do you think something will save her or is she off the show for good???

I'm hoping someone will save her. And me too, I never liked her much and could care less if she was on or off the show, but didn't want to see her go like that!!!! I'm going to have a hard time waiting for next season to get here!

Well, I don't remember hearing or reading anything about someone getting killed off or written off the show, so she probably isn't dead. But it'll be interesting to see what happens. Desperate Housewives has brought people back from comas and car accidents, so I wonder if Edie will be "brought back" from hanging herself.

I'm sure she's still alive if it was even her trying to hang herself I DOUBT they would kill off Gabby or Susan they are probably the most popular characters. Maybe Bree but I doubt it! I think just like every other episode something will change and we'll all be surprized. I don't think it was Edie who killed herself. Maybe Victors x wife

It sure looked like she hung herself. WOW, what a great cliffhanger. I never would have thought about the writers killing Edie off. She's one of the group.
This is like...."who shot JR" in the old Dallas show. We gotta wait til next season!!!!!

i remember reading something a little while back about a major part of the cast being written off. sure looked like she was DEAD feet swinging and everything!!! she is such a ho though!! she shouldn't have tricked carlos like that. can't wait for next season.

well i was watching the view one day and they had one of the producers from DH on the show. they were asking what was gonna happen in the finale and all he said was that someone was gonna die....
but i wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt actually edie

I Think she really Hung herself but Carlos will walk in to save her and then she will really be in love with him and he will be trapped with her thinking she did this because of him??

U know from previous cliffhangers that something will happen to prevent it from happening, like someone arriving at the house, or her changing her mind, or the rope breaking....
