Our company has a service contract for network availabiity. The
service level is for a “minimum average of 99.9%“. The calculated
measurement last month(using very precise and unrounded information)
was 99.8614%.

The vendor maintains that the 99.8614% should be "rounded-up" to conform
with the significant digits in the contract (nn.n%) and therfore the
service level was achieved. Unfortunately, the contract did not
address rounding, calculation precision, or significant digits.

Our position is that the word “minimum“ implies a floor threshold -
where the measurement is either below it or above(equal). In this
situation, 99.8614% is below the 99.9% floor.

journal. It fell out when I moved it. She thought she misplaced the book 3 days ago and has been frantic to find it. I never look in it because I respect her journal as I would like her to respect mine. I found it under the bed and put it on the nightstand and a phone number fell out. NOW GET THIS! It's her son's dad from before we met. I have caught her calling him several times over our 12 year marriage. She said she would never do it again....but here we go again...What do I make of this?

I know a lot of businesses, like the ones that sponsor schools and teams, also offer small scholarships, but those kinds of scholaships don't come up in a web search, or on engines like fastweb. Where can I go to find what scholarships are offered exclusively to the local community? (I live in Reno, but there must be somewhere common in all cities to look for this stuff)
ONLY PERSONS WHO HAVE ACTUALLY FOUND AND RECEIVED LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS NEED ANSWER, PLEASE.

Seniors pay "income" tax on 85% of their Social Security Tax. This is not "income" at all, but a social insurance into which they paid for more than 20 years, in some cases 30, 40 and 50 years. Also, people earning over $100,000 pay proportionately less tax with all the tax breaks they have been given by the Republican congresses of the past 10 years. Married People with Children pay even less tax. While Since people with no dependents, pay all the taxes that married people with children, and Billionaires don't pay.

Someone has to pay the taxes that support this "greatest country on earth" ... and the burden seems to be falling on those who can least afford it.

Do you feel this is fair?

If not are you willing to tell your Congress person so, and specifically Speaker Pelosi? Thank you for your thoughtful answer.

Money rules everything in a capitalistic society. The politicians are given big money to fool us into electing them so they can continue to make decisions to help the big businesses that own them. We are just the dummies that want to believe the next one is any different down beneath than the other one. The only way to change the world is to take money and power out of the equation. Congressmen, the president, and judges should not be able to have contact of any kind with businesses or receive any type of money, gifts or favors from anyone. Period!! Everything done in America can not have a monetary value to it.

I'm trying to create a session class so that I can manage the session as an object and I can pass that object around to other class function.

But in my constructor of my session class how to I set the session as my class instance?

Example:

class Session {
var $session;

function __construct($tmp_session) {
$session = $tmp_session;
}
//..... other code and function

?>

Then on the page I've this.....

require 'session.php';
session_start();
$session = new Session($_SESSION);

}

Will that work? I just try it and it seems doesn't work. Any idea?
