I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that has a 30G Hard Drive. I have seen replacement hard drives (up to 160G) on the internet and in stores. I have been entertaining the idea of buying one and swapping them out. Have any of you ever done this? What should I look for? Any advice? Anything (brands and such) to be aware of? Is there any true benefit to having your front and rear derailleurs match? My CAAD 9 came with 105 components and the added benefit of an Ultegra rear derailleur.

A racing friend has an extra Ultegra rear derailleur that he gave me. It fits the specs for the bike, etc.

Should I bother replacing the front derailleur? Would there be any payoff – faster shifting, weight.
