If this is true where is Lazarus who was resurected from the dead? Did he die twice or is he still around us somewhere?

You could also argue the same for Enoch and Elijah since Enoch was translated to Heaven and so was Elijah. In their case I believe they are the two witnesses spoken of in Revelation who will come and then be killed and left laying in the street for three days while the world celebrates their death. Then on the third day they will be resurrected while the whole world watches.

God did the same to a little girl whose name was Talitha. At that time Jesus said again - she is not dead but sleepeth. There is something between sleep and death that God knows and you and I are not enlightened on.

Each was a singular event, and I believe both were for the people to see the power of the resurrection.Remember that the sect of the Saducees didn't believe in a resurrection. I am sure they were hanging out there. They always had their nose in something.

Does no one teach deductive reasoning? It is given as a general rule that all men will die once. It was given to Lazarus to be raised from the dead. Not all mean are raised from the dead. One can not argue from a specific case and make a generalized statement that will hold true throughout all time. His death occurred quite some time ago and does not refute the principle.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
I believe the true meaning is after we die then is certain judgment. Lazarus wasn't the only one to die and be brought back to life. He did finally die. I believe it more accurately tells of the coming judgment.

To die a second time as can be seen from the book of the dead.

Lazarus was an exception, unless God took him before he died. I would have no problem with any of the scenarios.

"It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the judgment."----Hebrews 9:27

That is the GENERAL rule. The people that have been raised in the Bible, are exceptions. Which is Gods prerogative.

One shot is all that you get. In spite of what Jimmy Carter says, you're only born once, and you die only one time.

He got to be an exception. What about Enoch & Elija? they never have died.. Most of us get the just once and then the judgment.

Lazarus was before the death, burial, and resurrection.

I think that is an exception because it was a miracle at the hand of Jesus.
