My husband swears that in English each noun is assigned a gender, much like French. He states the cars are feminine. I think that men call cars "she" as a term of affection for their hobby.

My GPA is 3.0, which isn't very good and could've been better. For my SAT i got a 600 in math , 610 in reading, & a 600 in writing. I have also taken the time to write an amazing essay. I have been involved with various organizations throughout all my high school carreer such as DECA, Habitat for Humanity, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Bussiness Professionals of America, and Spanish Club. I have also served about 200 hours of voulunteer work. Despite my low GPA what are my chances of getting into Boston University? and if needed do i need to get my SAT scores higher , or are the reletively good enough?

The the new age of instent messageing and profiles and everyone "dateing" on line why is everyone so nagative about long distence relationships not working out. I have one that is tough I must admit, but its working so far. i guess you really have to keep the expections low and be real about what goes on when you are not on line talking . And say you have been talking for almost a year, is it ok to meet them someplace not so public? for the first time. Cause everyone says to meet in a plubic place. Or is this just opening up more doors to dangrerous relationships?

I just got a 30 gallon fish tank. Over night about 1 gallon of water (if not more) disappeared from the tank. I thought it might be evaporating but that seems like a lot over night. I have a wooden fish stand that only holds up the edges of the fish tank and the middle is not supported with a hollow space about 3 inches from the bottom of the aquarium glass. I thought maybe the water s leaking into this hollow space and not leaking out onto the ground yet. Should I support the bottom of the fish tank? Do I need to increase the temperature of the water to keep it from evaporating?

I currently have broadband with tiscali on my desktop, will I have to download this software onto my laptop? I know I need to buy a modem router. My laptop has a 56K modem and it says it is wifi enabled. Please help, I am getting confused lol! Please explain as clear as you can, I would appreciate it!

I recently bought a DVD set online. When it arrived the box was damaged. I asked for a refund and they said that I would have to send the DVD back. I did not want to do that (the DVDs themselves worked fine). I did not want to pay out of my own pocket to send it back. So I told them to forget the refund and that I would just keep the package.
They wrote back and told me to send the package back and they would refund it. I stated again that I would keep the item. They said that it was obvious that I had been trying to scam them I wrote back and told them that the transaction was complete and we were done. I also went and left feedback on the ordering site in the negative column but I stuck to the facts and simply stated the product had been damaged when it came.
The next day I recieved an email stating that since I had left negative feedback that this was slander and that I would be hearing from their attorneys.
So my question is can they sue me for that?

me and my fiance have been argueing for the past couple of weeks and its getting a joke the argue is about am not working at the moment so am in middle of looking for a job so in the mean time he working and bringing in the money could you ladez tell me do u think its fair that am left to do all the house work and look after the puppy while he is working and when he has three days off he still doesnt do any house work he sits on the computer all day or goes to the gym he never seems to have any time for me latley he says its the womans job to do the house work and the guys to bring in the money so what u woman think serious answers pleaz my relationship is on the rocks here?
