Russel by far! The Browns are bad no question about it, the Raiders are just terrible all around. Russel is the only player that the Raiders have and He is a rookie who has yet to prove himself. It will be very very difficult especially without any kind of supporting cast. Plus his mechanics are just awful and at the pro level mechanics are the key to success at the QB position. Poor mechanics will lead to more int's at the pro level because even the poor the DB's in the NFL are 10 times better than those in college not to mention 10 times faster. Teams will be having their secondaries looking at film of Russel watching his mechanics and taking a lot of risks to pressure him. With the change of the speed from college to pro and the intense pressure from blitzing from every direction, mixed with his awful mechanics and the lack of a supporting cast; Russel will throw more Int's than Td's.
Quinn on the other hand has a great receiving cor with Edwards, Winslow, Juraviscious and now Jamaal Lewis out of the backfield. He also has a much improved line and running game to counter the blitz from defense. His mechanics are much better than Russel's but I don't believe that he is the QB that the media has made him out to be, but his total supporting cast and mechanics are Way better than that of Russel. Quinn will have quite a few INT's but not as many as Russel.

Brady Quinn threw 7 interceptions along with 37 touchdown passes. JaMarcus Russell threw 8 interceptions along with 28 touchdown passes. JaMarcus Russell had 1 one interception at LSU last year than Brady Quinn did Notre Dame.

This may surprise a lot of people, but Brady Quinn will have fewer only because he will only play about 5 games. On the other hand, Jamarcus Russell won't have many either, 1) because he will play about 8+ games and 2) I expect the Raiders to establish the running game early and not rely on JR to win games with his arm. Keep in mind, if JR can keep the offense on the field, 5 more minutes per half and put up at least 3 pts more per quarter, they can win 6 more games than they did last year.

I say Jamarcus Russell only because Jamarcus will be starting beginning of the year while Brady Quinn will probably start be mid to late of the season. Now next year might be a different story.

i think of the Raiders would have a much better Season than the Browns. Quinn isn't even formally the starter in Cleveland so i could say Russell has the better hand subsequently far. Browns are in a semi-difficult branch with Steelers and Ravens, Raiders can for helpful win against the Chiefs and Broncos interior the vulnerable AFC West. The Raiders play the Browns in Cleveland this season so it is going to likely be exciting to confirm who wins. Assuming Quinn is the starter this season.

Russell, for several reasons:

- He'll get more snaps than Quinn, who will have to beat out Charlie Frye for the starting job;

- Russell doesn't have as good of vision over the field as Quinn & as a result, Russell is going to experience some growing pains as defensive backs read his progressions;

- Cleveland's O-line has gotten a lot of investment lately, while Oakland's O-line is just as much of a question mark as ever.

Jamarcus Russell since he will play more. Brady Quinn will sit until mid-season.

Brady Quinn, because he will sit in the pocket more and try and force the passes. Jamarcus Russell will be sacked more because he is going to try and run with the ball.
