Hi, yesterday I bought small fish feeders from a pet store and fed about five to my flowerhorn. Five hours later my boyfriend notice alot little white worms floating around the tank. We didnt think it was the feeders. So quarantine our fish, and did clean out tank and add new water. We saw that the feeders were dying quickly so split them up in 3 of our tanks, w/ none of our flowerhorns in the tank yet. Minutes later, my boyfriend saw one of the feeders spitting up tiny white worms. Then we started to assumed the parasites came from the feeders. The next day I confronted the fish store owner and he said the worms wouldn't of grown so fast. And it wasnt from his feeders. The worms are in all 3of my tanks and start seeing them after I put the feeders in..Could it be the feeders that cause the parasites to grow in such a short period of time? Or is my tank contaminated already? What should I do now to treat my flowerhorns I dont really want to see anything happen to them. Thanks

why is this wrong?

a = x [true for some a's and x's]
a+a = a+x [add a to both sides]
2a = a+x [a+a = 2a]
2a-2x = a+x-2x [subtract 2x from both sides]
2(a-x) = a+x-2x [2a-2x = 2(a-x)]
2(a-x) = a-x [x-2x = -x]
2 = 1 [divide both sides by a-x]

I have just given my lovely crown-tail betta a burrial at sea. He was only about a year old.

I have a regular betta who is about 3. He's quite smart and one time he was actually floating on his side and I put him on my desk while I worked andwatched him & he'sdoing fine nearly a year later.

Are crown-tails just not as hearty as the regular bettas?

I am 3 and a half months pregnant and I had my second appointment with my midwife yesterday. She told me I have put on 2kg (4lb) and said that was not good. Apparently I shouldn't be putting on that much that quick. Now the first time I went she said I had to lay off Pizza and fatty food, butter and sweet stuff like chocolate so I've been having healthy stuff like jacket potatoes and pasta but apparently now i have to cut out that stuff as well!! Problem is my weight fluctuates like that anyway even when im not pregnant. Surely 4lb is not a lot of weight to put on in three months. what exactly am I supposed to eat? I should possibly mention that i live in spain and the average size of a spanish baby is like 5.5lb and the average weight of a british baby is around 7.5lb. do you think this might have something to do with it?

Right!!!! Thats it!!! I am fed up of Norton 2007 and am starting to think whether I should uninstall it and replace it with another internet security such as Windows Live One Care or something similar.

people (as a genralization) get oh so defensive when the theory of evolution comes up. all scientific evidence points towards this conclusions, while as only the bible (a litle book made of paper) supports the adam and eve theory. human kind being made by the command of some guy in the sky? woman from a mans rib? just anohter example of woman inferiority? this is a changed world. you can still be a good religious person if you beleive in evolution. it doesn't take away your beleif in god if you accept the facts of science.... the bible is still filled iwht good morals, ethics, and values. its fine to be a beleiver and use the bible to lead your life, but evolution explains so much in the history of our world, while as the bible has many stories that just prompt the good things i listed above. please explain to me why the facts of science are so hard to accept? and do not tell me i need to read a bible.... i already have.

Well, we use Reverse Osmosis in our house to filter out water because it is too hard to be consumed in our neighbourhood. And there is another pipe, thro which the impure water is let out through. now, that impure water goes down the sink drain. There is absolutely no comprehensive and easy way of tapping that water and re-using that i have thought of. Your help would be valuable.
