Christians supposedly go according to the Bible.
The Bible speaks against such practices.
It claims it is among the first steps that lead to being harrassed by demons.
That is not a pleasant experience.
Is nobody able to at least warn you?

I don't think tarot cards will hurt your faith and relationship with God. If God is the all powerful it/he/whatever doesn't need to be worried about being upstaged by a silly deck of colorful cards. I think you're safe. I read tarot cards on occasion and if you do decide to go to a tarot card reader you might consider changing your question. Rather than finding out if your "mental situation is going down the tube" you might consider starting from accepting that you already do feel stressed (otherwise why would you go to a tarot card reader) and you want to know how you can go about feeling better. OR You could see a therapist with the same question. Whatever you decide you sound like you're feeling a little stressed and I think it's healthy to get support.

Have you ever asked yourself why you find things like this so fascinating? The reason, I suspect, is because down inside you feel uncertain and nervous about the future and think these things might help you feel more confident.

But this is precisely why I urge you to put your trust in God alone for the future. As I have often said, predictions like these about the future are almost never on target (or else they are too vague to really mean anything). Why build your life around them or get your guidance from them? They are only a substitute for the guidance you really need—which is from God.

My other concern, however, is one that I hope you will take very seriously. These things may seem innocent and amusing at first—but it's easy to get more and more fascinated with them, and eventually become involved in occult practices that are not from God.

Don't be misled: Occult practices are not from God, but from spiritual forces opposed to God. Instead, put your faith and trust in Christ. When we know Him, we know we are safely in His hands no matter what the future holds. The Bible is right: "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists ... should not a people inquire of their God?" (Isaiah 8:19).

According to the Bible it is an abomination.
Deuteronomy 18:11-13
"You are not to get involved in magic, witchcraft, sorcery, divination, casting spells on people, interpreting signs, making your little ones walk through a bed of burning coals or sacrificing your infants to some local god." "You are not to consult spirit guides or try to communicate with your dead relatives, or with someone who supposedly lived a long time ago to get some message or spiritual insight from them." The Lord your God hates this kind of thing because of what it does to people. These are the demonic practices that will cause the Lord to force these people out of the land and give their land to you."

I am a christian and I don't give a toss what you do, its you're choice, you wouldn't believe the truth if it jumped up and smacked you in the face, whats the problem with psychic readers and tarot? simple..they prefer to believe a lie.the truth sets you free not enslave you to a set of dumb cards and ghosts speaking..you need the holy ghost m8, try the living word as opposed to a dead set of cards..let the dead bury the dead.

Hi i know where your coming from here. I read Tarot and its all about opening up yourself to the devil so they say. They just dont believe in tarot as being a postive thing. To them the only way you can see or know what lays ahead is through God and no one else.

Just ignore them and keep doing what you do.

You can do whatever the heck you desire. But if you ask if we believe it is wrong...the answer is yes. Why?It is forbidden in God's Word. Why?Because the demonic spirits involved will deceive you[read: Deut.18 and Eph.6].

They think they are a type of magic which the bible states not to do. Destiny should be left to God alone.
