I have a trojan and other virus and my anti virus won't let me delete them. and there is one in my system files how do i get rid of it/them?

no need to format..jus end de process in task manager dat is suspecious n den delete the file....or boot in safe mode type "Msconfig" in run and remove virus processes from startup..
else download or get godd antivirus s/w like Norton,avg,antivir,nod32,pccillin..

which anti virus are you using - if you have up to date anti virus how did the viruses get there?

I use AVG free and that seems to work very well - it also get great reviews (often doing better than the likes of Norton)

Try a spyware scan. You can also try scanning from safe mode, this keeps the malware from activating while you scan.

Just format your PC. save everything you want on your HD. Then reboot with you WinXP disc in.
