Ok. Got a 1 inch to 2inch turtle, red eared slider. Hes been acting weird. I have the UVA/UVB light, basking area, water at a good temp. I feed him more than just lettuce, I feed him ZooMed Aquatic Turtle Yummies, Cooked Chicken, ZooMed Can-O-Shrimp, and Lettuce too. But since yesterday, hes been sleeping a lot, and hes less active. I even picked him up once, and he didnt wiggle like usual, and he layed in my hand. He does move, but little, and I think his eyes are still closed. I have been keeping really good care of him, I really dont know whats wrong, and if this is normal. Also, do turtles have a clear thing on there eye-lid when they close there eyes? Mine seems to have a weird thing over his eye when its closed, like, you can see his pupil, but theres a skin layer over it, thats really thin, but he does open his eyes and it not there. So please, I need help, and some answers! THANK YOU!

I popped a bag of popcorn, then I crushed up a butterfinger bar then opened it and put it inside of the bag of popcorn. I shook the popcorn up and ate it. It was the bombest thing I've eaten in awhile.

Has anyone else ever tried that? It's heavenly.

I was currently at school pursuing a degree for a career change. I am in my 30s. Two guys in their 20s on the program approached me to form a team for group projects. However, I didn't realize then both of them are interested in me. I was attracted to both, I am especially interested in A. However, the two always battled for my attention and literally make it impossible for me to work with any one of them. Though I always interest in A, I have developed some feeling for B on the way, which I am trying to sever. Recently I heard some rumors that A slept with another girl in the program, the girl has a committed boyfriend. The person C who told me this is pursuing me too so I cannot totally believe him. I am thinking about dropping both A and B, as they are young for me. Is this a smart move -- I am strongly attracted to A, A's way of pursuing me is so tense I have to reject him to take things slow. Some people in the program advise me not to drop A as he truly liked me.

i dont agree with this concept, so i was hoping to hear some statements regarding this. i mean, aren't priests sinners too? who are they to intercede for us? doesn't this custom create a hierarchy of deity among people? do catholics even pray to God about their sins, or do they just tell them to the priests?

I have exactly 150lbs. to lose and I don't expect to go to a place where I could lose all of it because to do it in a healthy way it would take at least a year and a few months. But I've also had a lot of depression lately from a death in my family and relationship problems. So I also just want to get away. It can't be someplace thats expensive, but I also don't want to go someplace thats like a bootcamp. I need someplace with nice people, maybe therapy sessions, and good food. I've heard of weightloss "camps" and "resorts" that just have like a cafeteria style of bland food and low quality.
I know it would cost a lot to go to a decent place, but I want to get what I'm paying for, you know? But it can't be like the uber spa getaway resort place.
I dunno, any ideas anyone??? ^_^

I am moving out of my current apartment when my lease ends at the end of June. My landlords emailed me tonight and said that their leasing agent has a key and will be showing my apartment to several interested parties starting May 1. I've had problems in the past with them wanting to enter my apartment without notice for a repair and really butted heads with them (all I wanted was notice). I'm a single woman living alone and really don't feel safe with people entering my apt without my knowledge. The two units above me have the exact same layout and are empty, so it seems more logical to show those anyway. But in Texas, aren't they legally required to provide 24 hrs notice before entering, except in the case of emergencies? Any advice on how to aproach this with my landlords? They are very difficult and abrasive people. I don't trust their leasing agent and REALLY don't want people in my apt with no one here. Advise from any Tx lawyers especially would be appreicated! Thanks guys!

I wasn't clear.... So me and this chick have been friends for about 6 months we shortly after we meet i told her that i was bi and she replied so was she!! So we kissed a couple times nothing serious until about a week ago.

She calls me to come hang out with her one thing lead to another and we got it on!! I dont know if it was good for her. She textes me a day later and we make plans for dinner. Do u think dinner on a friendship level or more?

well... This is a question about 2 phobias.
1. when I see a spider, I`m a little unpacient and I call mum or dad to kill it. When it`s on me, I scream very much and I tell the others around me to take it from my body. Am I arahnofobic? (I don`t know if this word exists in english to express the excessive fear of spiders)
2. I`m afraid of death. I`m very afraid of it, because I don`t know what happends after u die. Is this normal?

My daughter has been accepted at a very good school and on the science block roof are 5 phone masts....3g, vodaphone, tmobile, orange and one other. My daughter is really excited about starting in September but I have this niggling worry about the stories that the masts could cause cancer, Apparantly only one parent a yerar complains about them and the school has around 1500 children. Some people have said I am worrying about nothing and that if they were dangerous they would not be on a school roof but others would not send their child there purely because of this. Anyone got facts or information on this please?

Hamas were elected by democracy. If the Bush admin. do think that democracy should be encouraged and nurtured in the Middle East, why does the U.S. administration then ignore what should, according to their own hopes, must be a step in the right direction? Is it a case of President Bush paying lip-service to the idea of democracy, yet in practice disliking what it produces? Surely the U.S. should realise that democracies can produce governments which do not agree with them, but that such is the price of freedom?

well big deal huh 3 kids is nothing however my kids are 2 and 11 months just found out today im 6 weeks pregnant again please everybody spare me the lecture because i am old enough to do what i like im married we own our own home im a stay at home mum totally devoted to my kids.
sorry i had to explain myself i know i shouldent have to but people on here sometimes jump to conclusions lol.
