I was currently at school pursuing a degree for a career change. I am in my 30s. Two guys in their 20s on the program approached me to form a team for group projects. However, I didn't realize then both of them are interested in me. I was attracted to both, I am especially interested in A. However, the two always battled for my attention and literally make it impossible for me to work with any one of them. Though I always interest in A, I have developed some feeling for B on the way, which I am trying to sever. Recently I heard some rumors that A slept with another girl in the program, the girl has a committed boyfriend. The person C who told me this is pursuing me too so I cannot totally believe him. I am thinking about dropping both A and B, as they are young for me. Is this a smart move -- I am strongly attracted to A, A's way of pursuing me is so tense I have to reject him to take things slow. Some people in the program advise me not to drop A as he truly liked me.

Hello Confused...

It's time to ask yourself some direct questions. Ask enough questions and you'll find you're staring the answer in the face.

Are any of these men people you could see yourself building a long-term relationship with and justify the investment of yourself and your time in the relationship?

Do you think there's a possibility of real love with any of them or is it merely infatuation and a response coming from somewhere below the waist?

Are any of them worth sacrificing your goals for? If so, why? What would be the potential rewards of doing so? What would be the drawbacks?

If their distractions are sufficient to derail your academic success (because it doesn't sound as though work is the top priority), do you think it would be better to work with other people in the work projects?

If I were in your position, I would go ask people of YOUR choice to work on the group projects with you so that you could remain committed to your goals.

If you have leftover and uncommitted time, you could date one or more of them for fun if you like but they wouldn't be in a position to apply continuous emotional pressure or create distractions.

Chances are, the youths find the 'older' and more experienced woman intriguing and it's open to question as to what they think you could teach them.

It's tough when gonads overrule brains.

You have a complicated situation on your hand .It best to drop both and find better group partners for this project. In the end your degree is more important than both of them.
