One of my best friends cut her wrists again. And this time she did it like 30 times. I know she has many family problems...her parents are divorced she barely ever sees her dad who ignores her, and her mom lyterally smacks her around. Her bf and her broke up only two or three weeks ago and she is still taking it pretty hard becuase it was an ugly break up. I want to help her so much. I care about her but i don't know how i can help her. I have my own very personal problems and i have cut myself twice..but i don't know how i can help her. I still haven't been able to help myself. She means to much to me to loose, i can't loose another one of my best friends. I wouldn't be able to take it. Does anyone know how i can help her?...i can't bare to watch her kill herself like this. Even if i have many problems of my own..she means more to me.

i took the morning after pill yesterday. and never even experienced any side effects from it..

and i hear that most women usually experience side effects.

So there's this guy. (of course!) and he is chivalrious...if thats a word. He holds the door, and when I'm behind him in line he lets me go first. (Hes not really the type that does that). He touched my hair. He asked me to be his spanish partner and brags about it to his friends. He looks at me...differently than how other people look at me. He seems to like me.
But my friend talks to him...and after many long pauses and umms when asked if he likes me, he says, I know she likes me, but no one told him! and then he ums a bit more and says he "doesn't really like me". Is he lying? I need help. I am rejected so much! But he really seemed to like me...

When you dine in at a restaurant do you get annoyed when the waiter escorts you to the table that is next to other customers? The Diner is practically empty, yet they escort you to the table so that you can try squeezing out from behind that big fat guy behind you everytime you get up.

It cannot be documented by anyone that the Dept of Homeland Security has saved any lives. Even one.
And it just might be that FEMA, part of the Dept let a lot of people die. Has it really made America more secure? Probably in some small measure by diminishing Constitutional rights, like the 1st and 5th Amendments..

Seems to me that FOR THE SAME MONEY/COST a Dept of Healthcare would have saved thousands of lives and improved the lives and security of millions of Americans in the last 5 years.

What do you think and why?
